Discover the center of Leipzig, Germany
Hello travelers
In today's blog I want to take you back in time, somewhere in the middle of August 2023, when I had the opportunity to visit/explore some of the many places I wanted to go to in this country.
And yes, we are in Leipzig, you have heard of Lepizig, the city that gave the world great names like Martin Luther, Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, there are others but I can't remember.
Our adventure in Saxony was done by car, so even here in the center of Leipzig we found an underground parking (quite expensive but we didn't have another cheaper option and close to the center), I admit that it gave us a bit of trouble to get back to the parking but we managed in the end.
Let's start exploring this city, so, it all started near the Mendebrunnen fountain (if there are visitors who are locating here, if I get any names wrong please correct me, I don't realize why the German language is making me in trouble), then we continued to see Universitätskirche St. Pauli, I found this building really amazing.
Due to lack of time we didn't manage to visit these buildings inside, although some of the buildings that I will write about a little later I wanted to see inside.
Our visit continues on Grimmaische street where, right at the beginning of the street, we saw something interesting, a sculpture depicting some people, unfortunately I don't understand German and I couldn't find out more details (usually when I photograph a place, I write details about what I photograph to make it easier when I blog about that place, especially if it's been a long time, as in this case).
But let's move on.
Our direction was a bit chaotic (we didn't have anything planned before) so we ended up in the area of St. Nicholas church and we visited the surroundings.
I also discovered here something that I really liked the Specks Hof Passage, which is a few meters from St. Nicholas Church.
We move on to the Stadtgeschichtliches museum and the amazing St. Thomas church, and in these places I was speechless, I really fell in love with this city.
Turns out our visit here in the city center stops at the Bach statue but also at the Bach museum (at the museum we only took a few steps inside, today the weather was my enemy but no problem, I'll save them for next time).
THE END!
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached picture you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone(Samsung Galaxy S21), and the text is also designed by me.

The statue of Bach touched my heart all of a sudden ❤️
