Summer evening in Warsaw, Poland

in Worldmappin9 months ago (edited)

I went for a short trip to Warsaw last year. I walked around the city for few hours until I had to get on my private jet (jk).

Been wanting to post those photos but somehow I had too much other stuff I did instead.

I walked a lot in the big parks, and it was really nice and quiet in there. Saw many people walking and cycling.
It was a perfect summer day with 25 degrees but not too sunny and hot.

They were building something around the small lake? Seems beautiful.

Crossed this bridge and got to another big park.

Many cars and buildings also, but I was impressed by the amount of green nature and parks very close to the city centre.

People were super chill it seemed.

Some monument. Oh a bank building also on the back.

Back to school. Maybe. Yeah I think I did go back to school after that trip.

Horses and a man. Red Dead Redemption anyone?

The building architecture styles were very different.

I did use public transportation a few times to get further faster.

What I liked was a pretty cheap public transportation. 1 hour of public transport on either bus or tram under 1€.

Later I also rented Bolt bike to take a ride on the bicycle paths. These were pretty well built so I rode a few km for fun.

Mini garden.

Backside of some building, I liked those green plants and trees here again.

Those yellow trams look iconic.

One church i looked at from the distance.

I didn't actually have too much time to look around the city cause I had to be at airport few hours before the plane takes off since I had no idea how long the queues would be.

The food seemed also cheaper than on average in Europe so I would recommend a trip to this city, but I'm not sure exactly what is there something cool to do cause I was mostly just walking around. 😀

I'm now looking at the map and realizing I managed to only visit 2-3 parks out of the 20 something? Damn I need to visit again in the future maybe for much longer to discover the city. The city definitely has a good vibe to it in the summer.

Looks an interesting place to visit, one day perhaps a longer visit to enjoy more!

Yeah, I didn't get to enjoy the city too much in little time.

Good excuse to go for a longer visit soon.

Warsaw and Poland as well are one of those places I'd to visit one day... I mean, it is so unique, historical and gorgeous. Loved to see this.

Yeah I bet there is a lot of cool hidden places of history in the city.

Well, you're absolutely right
