Camping combined with exploring the Black Rock Beach (Son Tra Peninsula)

in Worldmappin3 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone! How is everyone today? It's the weekend again, where are you going to play? This weekend I took my trip to a beach in the Son Tra peninsula. I am a person who loves the sea very much. Whenever I have free time to rest, the first place I will think of is the sea. I love to smell the saltiness of the sea and the fresh sea breeze full of salt. It makes me feel very healthy. I can run and jump under the sand and laugh heartily, I don't care about anyone, nothing... There's nothing more beautiful than seeing the sunrise over the sea. The sea always brings a feeling of freedom and peace when we look at it. I used to sit and watch the sea change color from jade to deep blue every morning, the waves and small sponges with seaweed branches washed ashore on the rocky shore and inland. According to psychologist Michael Eason, many other studies show that exposure to nature has the effect of curing several diseases, reducing stress, and reducing depression. It is the sounds of nature, such as birdsong, running water, ocean waves, that will help you have relaxing moments on weekends, after a working week.

In today's article, I will write about a pristine beach, this beach is called Da Den Beach, located on Son Tra peninsula, where it is adjacent to the coast. Black rock beach is also located close to the Golden Sand tourist area. Da Den Beach is located in Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City. Black rock beach is located 15km northeast of Da Nang city center, to reach the black rock beach we will have many ways to move here. Everyone can choose for themselves, a trip by tourist boat. The train will run daily if there is a need and number of visitors. Normally, cruise ships will dock at Tho Quang's boat port to pick up guests, after more than an hour by boat we can reach Da Den Beach. You can also move to Black Stone Beach by taxi or motorbike. If traveling by motorbike, in the city center, you will have to move towards Tien Sa port. Go through the bridges on the Han River, such as Dragon Bridge, Han River Bridge, Thuan Phuoc Bridge. To move flexibly and not get stuck in traffic, you should choose Thuan Phuoc Bridge to get to Da Den Beach. After passing all of Thuan Phuoc Bridge, right at the intersection between Yet Kieu and Le Duc Tho streets. You should go in the left-hand direction, go in the direction of Yet Kieu street. Going about 4km, you look to the right, there will be a road leading to Son Tra mountain. In front of this road, there will be a sign prohibiting motorbikes, with automatic transmission. Over the past 2 years, in the Son Tra peninsula, there have been many accidents where the brakes are lost, cars with automatic transmissions are often very dangerous when going down steep slopes. It is for the above reason that the Son Tra peninsula has banned motorbikes with automatic transmissions from running on the Son Tra peninsula. This road has steep slopes, which are quite difficult for old motorbikes. Going 100m, you will have an epidemiological declaration station. This is a mandatory condition for you to visit the Son Tra peninsula. In the past short time, Vietnam is the country with the highest number of CoVid infections in the region, so in this period you must comply with the regulations to be on Son Tra Peninsula. From the place of medical declaration to Da Den Beach, people will have to travel another 4km to get to Da Den Beach.

It can be said that on this road is the most beautiful scenery of Son Tra peninsula, you will experience the winding steep passes, along with that is a primeval forest on one side, and below the forests are beautiful beaches. If you are lucky, you will meet herds of brown-shanked douc langur, this is the primate queen of the Son Tra peninsula. I met Douc langur twice on this road. Douc langurs usually go out to eat in the afternoon, usually, douc langurs will follow a family of 4 to 5 members. Douc langurs are very afraid of people, they are very shy when people come near. If you have a telephoto lens, go gently and get up close and take pictures from a distance, for good shots of the Douc langurs.

After going all 4km of this road, you will meet a fork, where there is a signboard that is Bai Vang tourist area. You go to the left, go 300m will have a yellow house, this is the coast guard station of the Marines. When you come here, ask the permission of the navy soldiers to park your car here and go down to Da Den Beach. This place does not sell entrance tickets, but you will have to pay a parking fee of 10 thousand Vnd, if you spend the night you will be 20 thousand Vnd, if you calculate the US Dollar, it will be less than 50 cents. Next to this house, there will be a trail path, there are many pine trees planted here, after 5 minutes you will see Da Den Beach. The first thing that impresses you when you arrive here is that it has a very green lawn. Below the lawns is the beach. At the coast, there are many yellow and black rocks, so this place is named Da Den Beach.

Da Den Beach is the name that locals give to this beach because it has smooth green lawns, where there are many large black rocks interspersed, stacked on top of each other. Create a colorful scene, especially the Lawn area with many small lakes, separated by rocks. Da Den Beach is surrounded by large rocks, so the lake water is clear all year round, with gently lapping waves, beautiful scenery. This place is very suitable for tourists to swim, fish, and scuba dive to see corals. Unlike the beach tourist destinations of Da Nang city, which are always crowded and bustling, Da Den Beach always maintains a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Because it has just been put into use, Da Den Beach still retains the wild beauty of nature. When you come here, you get back to nature. You can dive in the clear, cool seawater, or relax on the grass and enjoy the tropical sea sun, enjoy the cool atmosphere of the blue sea. One of the favorite activities of tourists when coming to Da Den Beach is camping outdoors. When camping at Da Den Beach, you need to prepare a tent and some dry firewood to light a fire at night. Because on the lawns there are many pools of stagnant water, due to the stream flowing from the mountain. So you can bring a sleeping bag, to avoid mosquito bites when sleeping here. You also need to have an extra flashlight, in case you need to use it for lighting, lighters, candles, raincoats, etc. At night you will be able to watch the starry sky with boats in the distance, listen to the sound of the ocean waves. Will help you calm down! Immerse yourself in the sounds of heaven and earth, try to experience wonderful picnics at the campsite on Son Tra black rock, you will surely enjoy this place.

If you come here to play, you must note that the phone signal here is very weak. If there are important things, let's settle all the work before the trip, so that we can freely explore this place. The most unfortunate thing about this place is that this place is located to the north and you can't see the sunrise and sunset. But don't worry, because this place still has a lot of beautiful scenery for you to explore. I love going down to the rocks below the sea, sitting on the rocks. The strong waves here hit the shore, creating white bubbles that look very beautiful. It is the sound of the waves that help me relieve stress, after working days. The area to the right of Da Den Beach is a small rocky beach, named by the people here because there are many round rocks, so the beach here will be very difficult to camp through. night. Looking out to the sea, you will see boats catching fish, in the sea, there are many different types of fish, the common fish is grouper, pompano, and other seafood on the bottom sea.

After exploring the black rock beach, I started to return to the city at 4 pm. I also wanted to see the sunset today, so I moved back to the city. On the way back, I accidentally met herds of langurs eating leaves, on a big old tree. I took a lot of pictures. But because of the fear of humans, the langurs, some of them have left. An interesting thing today is that in this area, I heard the sound of a stream flowing again. I went to find this place with the sound of this stream, there is a small stream flowing through the pipes, Next to the stream, there is a small road with lots of big stones. Going inside this place I was very interested when I just discovered an empty lot here. On the land, there are many old trees and smooth green lawns. If you stand from here, you will have a wide view to see all of Son Tra forest. Looking in the distance is the vast sea, along with the Hai Van mountain range on the other side of the mainland. The location here is very suitable for camping because it has a very large field. Enough room for 10 tents at this place. Equally impressive is that this place is located to the west, you will see a beautiful sunset here every afternoon. I will share the Map of this place in this article, this location has coordinates 16.136327, 108.234566. If you live in Da Nang, you should come here once. If you're from another place, I'm sure you'll love this place as much as I do. Although the weather this afternoon is not beautiful and the sunset is not impressive, I will come back here one fine day to camp again.

Agree completely with you about the power of the nature! PS -The photos with the monkeys are great!

It would be nice to! I'm sure you won't get bored visiting places in this part of the world.

very nice pictures! This looks like a great place to visit!
