Hello travel lovers! It's me again, in my today's travel article, I will write about a famous tourist destination of Da Nang city, which is Ba Na mountain top tourist area. Ba Na Hills tourist area is located at Ba Na Mountain, also known as Lo Dong Mountain, in Hoa Vang district, Ba Na Mountain is about 25 km southwest of Da Nang city center. Ba Na Mountain is located in Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City. You can travel to Ba Na Hill on your own by motorbike or taxi. Ba Na peak is 1487 m above sea level. This is considered a European-class tourist paradise, in the heart of Da Nang city. Ba Na amusement park is a famous destination of Da Nang city, annually attracting millions of domestic and foreign tourists. Ba Na Hill is likened to a fairyland of Vietnam that anyone who comes to Da Nang must want to visit once. Coming to Ba Na Hill, you will experience the Bodega Debay, the Post Office, the ancient church... You will enjoy the perfect natural beauty and the ancient architecture of the French village here. Ba Na was surveyed and discovered by the French in 1911. In the same year, the Governor-General of Indochina issued a resolution to turn Ba Na into a forest reserve. And after the first world war, the French officially turned it into a tourist resort for many leading officials and they were the first to design a guesthouse on the top of the mountain here. This mountain resort was designed by lawyer Besson. Since 1928, the road to the mountain was completed, the number of visitors to Ba Na increased day by day, mainly Vietnamese and French officials. It became a famous tourist center throughout Indochina, but after 1945 Ba Na gradually disappeared and was forgotten for nearly half a century due to the influence of wars. In 1997, after a long time of liberation, Da Nang city invested again and turned Ba Na into a large-scale ecological zone. In 2000, Ba Na regained its position as a famous tourist area of the Central region but still did not attract many tourists due to unprofessional management and wrong investment. In 2007, the complex was transferred to Sun Group to manage. Since then, the appearance of Ba Na Hills has been changed and is a favorite destination of tourists. In 2009, Sun Group Ba Na Hills inaugurated the Ba Na - Suoi Mo cable car route, followed by the construction of the French Village, the reconstruction of the Debay wine cellar with more than 100 years of history, and the spiritual areas on top of Ba Na. pagodas, the same old church, indoor playground, the most special feature is the Golden Bridge, which is one of the new symbols that attract many tourists to visit in recent years.
During my vacation trip on Christmas, I had a 2 day 1 night trip with my family at the top of Ba Na mountain. If you stay overnight on the top of Ba Na mountain, there will be very few hotels to choose from, there are only 2 hotels at the top of Ba Na mountain, which are Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills Hotel and Morin Hotel. On this trip, our family chose Mercure hotel as a resting place during the past Christmas. Mercure Ba Na Hills Danang Hotel is the first hotel built in Ba Na and managed by Accor Hotels. Not only providing luxurious accommodation, but the hotel also integrates many facilities such as a gym, spa, swimming pool, kitchen, and entertainment area. Unlike any other hotel in Vietnam, Mercure Ba Na Hills is designed in 19th century Gothic architecture, inspired by ancient French villages. Coming here, you feel like you are living in a French room, with meticulously carved pointed arches, old bee bricks, and very special window frames. All rooms are designed with windows overlooking the French village as well as the natural beauty of Ba Na. To get to Mercure Ba Na hotel. You will go by the longest cable car route in Vietnam from the foot of Ba Na mountain, below Ba Na tourist area is designed according to the city gate architecture of Hue royal palace, inside is the cable car ticket selling point leading to the top. Ba Na mountain. Cable car ticket price for tourists to visit and entertain in Ba Na tourist area is from 750,000 VND for 1 visitor, equivalent to 30$. If you stay overnight at Mercure Ba Na hotel you will not have to buy an entrance ticket, but you must check-in under the entrance area. After the check-in procedures, I started going up to the cable car area, the total length of the Ba Na hill cable car was 5km. Before 2020, this was the longest-designed cable car route in Vietnam, but now it has been surpassed by Hon Thom Phu Quoc cable car with a design of nearly 8km. Sitting on the cable car cabin, you will feel the beautiful scenery of Ba Na mountains and forests, looking down from the cable car will be the primeval forests of the Truong Son mountain range of Vietnam, after 15 minutes traveling by cable You will reach the top of Ba Na mountain, where you can visit the golden bridge of Ba Na, but due to foggy weather conditions, I continue to move the cable car to the top of the mountain of the village. France. This is the entertainment area of Ba Na Hill's ecological area.
Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills is a complex of 400 rooms divided into 9 room classes from standard rooms to VIP rooms including standard room, superior room, deluxe room, duplex room, executive suite, Family Suite, Superior Family Room, Royal Suite Room, and Brunks Room Each room at Mercure Ba Na Hills has prices ranging from 2,000,000 VND to 4,000,000 VND per night, depending on different room types. On this trip, my family chose the executive suite. This room class will accommodate up to 4 people, including 1 double bed and two bunk beds. The area of this room is quite small, but it is very cozy in the cold weather. The temperature at the top of Ba Na mountain, with a temperature difference of 5 to 6 degrees with Da Nang city, the night temperature fluctuates from 5 to 8 degrees Celsius, this can be considered the coldest place of Da Nang city. Nang in winter. Each room at Mercure Ba Na Hills Danang is carefully designed with luxurious interiors and modern amenities. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, WiFi, telephone, desk, safe. safe, air conditioning, writing desk, and hairdryer. Attached are bathroom facilities such as shower, bath toiletries. After checking in, I started to visit around this place, the outside temperature was quite cold, there was a lot of fog around. It is also very dark if you go in the winter, I think you have to prepare enough items to keep your body warm.
Ba Na at night will bring visitors lost in the dream world, where there are sparkling castles and attractive night parties. If Ba Na is vibrant and bustling during the day, when it is visited by thousands of tourists, the nighttime here is very different from the day. When visitors come to Ba Na at night, they can participate in cultural exchanges, warm campfire activities, and team games. If you want to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here, you can go for a walk. Let's admire the mysterious beauty of the ancient French village, under the night lights. If the weather is foggy, you won't have a good view to see Da Nang at night from above, but that doesn't mean that this place has lost its charm. At night, after having dinner at the restaurant, I started to go outside to visit, at Christmas this place is decorated with beautiful pine trees and snowmen. The center of the French village has a church. You cannot miss the Saint-Denis Church, a miniature model of the French Denis Church. This work vividly reproduces the mark of Gothic architecture, built in the French village of Ba Na Hills. The exterior of the cathedral is carved, built, and designed very sophisticatedly, bringing majesty and luxury. The peculiarity of St Denis's Church makes every visitor come here, almost at first, to scoff. The beauty of the colorful arrays, domes, and raw stone walls, beautifully reproduced in European style. When entering the church, you will be amazed by the pointed pyramidal structure at the top, the wide corridor, two rows of seats arranged on either side and the image of Christ present on the cross. Coming here, you will have a feeling of lightness, you can meet the priest to express your feelings and enjoy the sculptures built in the cathedral. A special experience not to be missed if you stay overnight at Ba Na Hills. That is the view of Da Nang from above at night. At an altitude of 1487m above Ba Na, visitors can admire a close-up view of Da Nang city at night. If you have stayed overnight in Ba Na, you must wake up early the next morning to welcome the sweet and fresh dawn here. If you want to take pictures of the golden bridge without people, staying overnight at the French Village will experience watching the golden bridge peacefully and with the fewest people, breathing in the fresh, cold air, and watching the sunrise. In Ba Na, you will find the faculty cheerful and full of life for a new day. If you love romantic and poetic France, you don't need to go far. to discover Ba Na Hills French Village right in Da Nang city. Coming here, you will be immersed in the luxurious, ancient, and poetic beauty of miniature France, on top of Ba Na hills recreated through ancient castles or rural villages with bold French traces.

That church is beautiful. Do you know when it was built?
I'm not sure when it was constructed, but it was most likely in 2010. Previously, there was only a modest chapel at the summit of the mountain, dedicated to the French in the early twentieth century. Later, in 2010, a larger and more magnificent chapel was built, which is now in use.
