Most of the areas covered with water includes, Eket, Ibeno- where the Atlantic Ocean is, onna, Ikot Abasi, Oron, Eastern Obolo and others. Part of these areas are covered with large water bodies. Most of the villages are built on water as it can be visible from the Sand.

I have been in Eket for two Weeks and today, I had a birthday Celebration to Attend. My Residence is quite far from Ikot Abasi, some good miles of both water and land must be Covered.
My first start was at a Bridge, the place is called Onna Head Bridge. That was the only place I could get a Cab straight to my destination.

When I alighted from my Bike, the cab Divers nearly Swallowed me up but I quickly Escaped. Well i wasn't really comfortable with the condition of Cabs around, So i decided to Travel with a bike. This Said Distance is quiet Far and I haven't traveled this far on Bike before.

The crux of this Journey was travelling on a bridge of a big water Body i never Knew existed in my state. I have been Hearing of the Famous qua River But I never Knew what it looks like

The Qua Iboe River is a major landmark in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and plays a significant role in the state's history and geography of the Akwa Ibom Land.

A huge river tho which Primarily bisects the state and forms a boundary between Eket and Onna Local Government Areas.

History has made it Known that this particular river was a vital transportation route for trade and political administration before and during colonialism. The Portuguese named it Rio del Conde in 1686. The first Christian evangelization effort in the area was called the Qua Iboe Mission.

Well My Bike man was ready and set for my Ride, I want really able to take enough pictures because of the Speed but I took two shots of this river and I had to Place my phone back into My Bag.
With this Bridge, I was able to crossover from my Resident Area to my destination without the Use of Boat.
