In today's blog I like to share my experience of a bike ride in plains. Usually I do road trips in mountains in my bike, but this time I decided to do something different. So I I went for a bike ride in Chandigarh and to be more specific in Mohali. Chandigarh is a plain area and you will rarely spot any mountains here. At first I was riding in a highway.And I was riding towards the khard area and I suddenly spotted a road towards a village which is called pind in Punjabi.
For me , riding in the highway is boring cause I have done it a lot and whenever I have to go somewhere I have to cross it. So in this journey , let's explore the road to pind together.
And this was the view in front of me. In the farm around me , there was green vegetable all over and it was a pleasant view. Although it's near city, but I can clearly Tell you the difference in the quality of air. It's more calm here the air is fresh and chilling. It's not hard to figure out by looking at this picture. Also there was a pleasant scent and freshness of these green leafy vegetable that was bringing oppositive energy in me. For a second it teleported me to my village at Jubbal in Himachal Pradesh.
Now allow me to tell you the difference between riding at mountains and riding in the plains. In mountains , the view changes after every curve and you can also do cornering at the mountains. But these all doesn't apply in plains, The view is same even after few kilometres and no cornering, nothing. The only thing I think is good while you are riding in planes.Is that you cover whole lot of distance within no time.
The day was foggy and as far as can see the view was same, only difference was different vegetables growin in different patches of land, haha. But honestly I did enjoy the ride.There's never a dull moment when I'm on my bike and I don't enjoy the ride.
The freshness of this area Took away all my stress and fill me with some positive vibes. To my surprise, there was no one here and I don't know why. Maybe the weather is not good enough for people to chill outside. Do let me know what whether you prefer to chill outside?
And here are some pictures that I have taken with my phone and I loved how they turned out. I was Here alone for almost like forty five minutes, I enjoyed the view, set there and listen to music. My favourite activity to do when I find a spot which is beautiful and calm.
Well , that was all about my recent trip to plains on my bike. But honestly I like riding my bike in the mountains. More cause the view change With every turn you become more aware in the corners of the road and most of all you learn new things about you and your bike. And in the mountains you challenge yourself.
