Radhe Radhe Everyone!

Today we are at Sheesh Mahel which translates to 'Palace of mirrors' in English. On my way to Sheesh Mahal I saw this beautiful sculptures of two lady with pot over there head. The suddenly caught my attention as it was literally a masterpiece. Also it was so huge like a life size culture and felt so real. You can see it's literally touching the sky and the colors used in this cultures are sort of glittery and catches your attention. This culture shows the beauty of Indian a women's in ancient time and how they used to dress up. The dress they are wearing is called Gopi dress and in Vrindavan you will see everyone wearing the Gopi dress. Sheesh Mahel is inside a very famous Rangji Temple which is at Vrindavan. This temple is assemble of beauty love devotion and has a deep spiritual significance.

I reach there during evening and saw Shri Ranjit Temple, a gem that was built around 1851 and its dedicated to Lord Vishnu or to Lord Ranganathan. This temple is huge and the complex include a beautiful garden along with the huge water tank and Sheesh Mahel.

Photography was not allowed in the complex of this Temple and you can see as it was the time of Evening Aarti there were lots of devotees in the temple. Witnessing and evening Aarti and any Temple is really a spiritual experience and remove all the negativity from you. I didn't know that there was a Sheesh Mahal inside this Temple but as soon as I saw the board I become excited unwanted to know more about it. There was a entry ticket to the Mahel and it only cost 5 rupees, which makes it affordable and attract loss lots of tourist from all over the world.

In Inside Sheesh Mahal

As a entered the Sheesh Mahal I was surprised to see this masterpiece. The mirror work done on this is literally amazing and it shows the craftsmanship of the artist and its reflects the artistic heritage of that era. These numerous wall Millers while creating a beautiful and mesmerizing effect as a light reflects through them and it eventually enhances the beauty of the Mahal. The Sheesh Mahal gives insight into the culture and heritage of the area which is still unique and valued all over the world.

The picture above you can see how beautiful it looks from inside. It's like you have entered into a dream world which doesn't exist for real. Reflection from the mirror was creating a beautiful and loving environment in the temple. When you first enter the Mahal you wont believe that it's mirrors, it feels like the Mahal is made up of precious stones rubies and diamonds. Mostly you will see only two colour in the Sheesh Mahal and they are Red and green. Except Red and green you will only see colours that are used in the sculptures or the colour of the dresses worn by the deities inside the Mahal.

This is a very beautiful and very close to my heart sculpture of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani and present inside the Sheesh Mahal. These Sculptures are beautiful beyond imagination and considered yourself lucky if you all are reading this blog and saw this beautiful picture. Together they both were looking so beautiful and I took blessings from them and told them how grateful I am for everything they have given to me.

Next I saw the sculptures of Ram, Lakshman and Sita, the Indian deities of Ramayana. It is among one of the greatest Hindu epics which is written by Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit. Do you know that Lord Rama is 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ramayana narrates the story of Lord Ram and his wife Sita and brother Laxman. In the story it is mentioned deeply house Lord Rama rescued his wife from king of Lanka, Ravana.

Have a look at this beautiful art of work, the reflections here were so strong that I wasn't able to click pictures with that clarity but what's the point of visiting a Sheesh Mahal if it's not even reflecting the lights inside it.

The architectural work of the Mahal is inspired by Mughal and Rajasthani style and the mirrors were place exactly at points where they reflect natural and artificial light and make a place look so grand and reflective. It is believe that the shimmering and glittery errors of the Sheesh Mahal here at this Temple represent the celestial beauty of Lord Krishna. Sheesh Mahal overall enhances the beauty of the temple and creates a loving and spiritual environment inside the temple. For the record, all the pictures are taken by me with my phone.

That's all for today's work guys hope you enjoy and may God bless all!

Thank you for reading.

Oh my god what a rich place everything looks so shiny!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Wow, great to see that how well preserved that palace is. There is also a Sheesh Mahal in Lahore, Shahi Qila but it is more like a remain.

Yes, I have heard about sheesh mahel in Lahore, is it open for visitors?
