Hello friends. I want to tell you about a walk through the old part of Veliko Tarnovo and along a street called General Gurko. The street surrounds almost the entire old part of the city and is an extremely popular destination for tourists and a favorite place for Tarnovo residents to walk.
Здравейте приятели.Искам да Ви разкажа за една разходка из старата част на Велико Търново и по точно улица наречена генерал Гурко.Улицата опасва почти цялата старинна част на града и е изключително популярна дестинация за туристи и любимо място за разходка на търновци.
The street is distinctive in that it meanders between beautiful residential buildings with incredible architecture, which are always stacked on top of each other.
Улицата е отличителна с това че криволичи между красиви битови згради със невероятна архитектура които са всякаш накацали една върху друга.
Walking forward, many beautiful panoramas are revealed to the gorge of the Yantra river, above which rises one of the most recognizable symbols of Veliko Tarnovo, namely the majestic Asenevtsi monument.
Вървейки напред пред нас се разкриват много красиви панорами към дефилето на река Янтра над която се издига един от най разпознаваемите символи на Велико Търново а именно величественият паметник Асеневци.
In its continuation, several house-museums of significant Bulgarian personalities as well as several craft workshops are located here. In one of the taverns, you can also enjoy traditional Bulgarian feasts in an authentic setting.
По своето продължение тук са разположени и няколко къщи-музей на знакови български личности както и няколко занаятчийски работилници.В някой от механите може да се насладите и на традиционни български гозби в автентична обстановка.
Due to almost no car traffic, Gurko Street is also famous for its cute four-legged inhabitants. At almost every corner, you may come across a kitten that is undisturbed lying in the sun or without any fear coming to look for attention right at your feet.
Поради почти никаквият трафик на коли улица Гурко е и прочута със своите сладки четириноги обитатели. Боквално на всеки ъгъл може да попаднете на някой коте което не обезпокоявано се излежава на слънце или без никакъв страх идва да търси внимание направо в краката ви.
The street is not very long but with numerous stops to take pictures or just to look around and enjoy the views it took us almost two hours to walk it all. Finally, I will share with you these souvenirs that we bought for a symbolic amount from a small artist who said that he makes everything himself.
Улицата не е много дълга но с многобройни спирания за снимки или просто да се огледаме и насладим на гледките ни отне почти два часа да я минем цялата. За финал ще ви споделя тези сувенири които си купихме за символична сума от един малък творец който каза че всичко си изработва сам.
