in Worldmappin4 months ago

This Saturday I visited the festival "According to Malkotarnovski - from the spring of Strandzha" in the town Malko Tarnovo in Bulgarian mountain Strandzha.

Unique Bulgarian customs preserved over time are presented at the festival.

The festival is being held for the 14th consecutive year and its aim is to:

"shown the intangible heritage of the Strandzha region in an authentic form".

This year, the community center of the town, celebrates 110 years since its establishment, and that is why the event is dedicated to it.

My friends and I arrived at the main square where the festival takes place in the early afternoon.

Such a lovely day for visiting a festival. These crafts are very colourful and cheerful. The blue sky and bright sunshine made the day much more enjoyable.
