Last Morning - Wondrous Wyoming

A couple of you know that I am leaving Wyoming. The reasons will become their own new series soon... but for now, know that we are traveling to a new life - and have already had more than our share of trials thus far.

This is the sunrise I observed from Prairie View Campground, near Lusk, Wyoming, our final morning in the state. I do not expect to live here again soon, though I still have not seen Yellowstone for myself.

The sleep was okay, for camping between the road and the railroad tracks. The campground was slightly expensive for a campground, but a lot cheaper than a motel. It was a welcome rest after a stressful time.

Maybe I should have been wary of the "red sun in morning"... as our troubles really set in after that - soon after we crossed the border into South Dakota...

In fact, so harsh have been our difficulties that had it not been for two separate experiences of "deja vu", we might have been tempted to rethink our plans...

I will tell you more soon, but wanted you to see this wonderful sunrise as we woke up Friday morning.

@jamerussell and @prissy (not sure of her blogging name right now) have been great sources of strength and comfort during this trying time.
