Weekend trip to Požega in western Serbia

in Worldmappin3 years ago

Two weeks ago I went to visit my boyfriend in his hometown Požega for his birthday🎂.
This was the 4th time I went there and every time i go there I fall more and more in love with that city. Požega is a town in western Serbia and, it is 250 km away from me and it takes me 5 hours to get there but that doesn't stop me from visiting it all the time.
I went on Friday and the trip was pleasant, I listened to music and looked out the window and admired the scenery, I saw a lot of birds like every time, but this time I saw a deer for the first time in my life, it was beautiful and I was overjoyed, I will remember that for the rest of my life for sure. The best view was when I passed by the West Morava.

FACTS
Archaeological excavations in the Požega region have confirmed that the Požega valley was inhabited even in the Neolithic period.
The year 1832 is important for the founding of Požega as a town, when, on the order of Prince Miloš Obrenović, the urban planning of Požega was being worked on.
The central place is occupied by the square, which is circular in shape and has remained as such to this day. The main streets lead from the square, which are wide and go further to the other parts of the city.
When I got there, my boyfriend waited for me and we went for a walk through the square, the most beautiful part of the city.

After that, we went to his house and played with his dog Kodi, a Maltese. He likes to play and run a lot,he also likes to sleep, but I think that most of all he loves taking pictures.
