Hello Hive traveler in the whole world...

I don't remember the last time I visited Taman Ismail Marzuki (Ismail Marzuki Park). As the name implies, this park was initiated to commemorate the composer Ismail Marzuki who has created many National songs including the Indonesian National Anthem, Indonesia Raya. For that reason, its name is dedicated to the park which functions as an arts center in Jakarta.
Taman Ismail Marzuki was the first park I visited when I first arrived in Jakarta 12 years ago. Wow, that's a very long time. When I lived in Jakarta, I visited Taman Ismail Marzuki several times. If I remember correctly, the last time I was here was in 2018 or 2019. After that, I just thought about visiting this park again. But how surprised I was when I saw this area was very different. I can't recognize it because it's so different from the past.
And let's get it!
Cikini, Jakarta
In the past, in the front yard there were steps that resembled a stage. At night, many traders sold their goods there so that the area became a favorite area for culinary tourism and hanging out for workers in Jakarta. In addition, in this park there is also a multimedia campus called the Jakarta Arts Institute, so there will be many students passing by. I still remember, in this area there is also a large cinema. I used to watch movies there often, now I don't know where the cinema moved.
All the buildings seem to have been demolished and replaced with a building called the Ali Sadikin building.
There are 5 floors on this building. There was a library that I wanted to visit, but at that time it was closed because it was undergoing maintenance. I forgot that public places in Jakarta are always closed on Mondays for maintenance.
The Theatre Building
This is a theater building in Taman Ismail Marzuki. I once visited it when I watched the announcement of the winners of the Jakarta Arts Council. I am glad that I once entered this building and watched a national music performance and saw talented writers.
When I went there, there was an event called National Disability Day. It was an event where our disabled friends had the opportunity to show their talents such as painting, making crafts, and others. I even had the chance to see their paintings, all of which were very unique and beautiful. I appreciated their works, absolutely awesome!
What do you think? Did you had same experience as me?

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
