It feels very basic if I say I went to this tourist spot because it is a popular tourist spot in Singapore, but I ended up saying it, right? Ha ha ha…
So this is one of the places I want to visit if I go to Singapore. Thanks to Aswita who posted this place on HIVE before so I could know that this place is free to visit. What I previously knew was that Singapore is an expensive country, so it is impossible to find beautiful tourist spots that are free. Turns out they exist, and this place is one of them. That is a short story of why I ended up going here, I wanted to see the beautiful and superb thing there, Supertree Grove.
So let’s get it!
Singapore
To go to Garden Bay, I used MRT transportation which was very close to my hostel. Actually, it wasn't that close because I had to walk about 2KM. For Indonesians who don't like to walk, this distance is not close, but for me who prefer to walk, especially since the pedestrian section is very clean and qualified, I prefer to walk. If you want to save time, you can use the bus. Because the bus route is very difficult for me as a newcomer, I decided to just walk. The MRT route in Singapore is very easy, I feel very expert even though this is my first time using the MRT.

After waiting for a while in the MRT, I finally set my foot in Garden by The Bay. It is a very very very large park. It just so happened that at that time the weather was (also) very hot. It was good for taking photos because the results would be nice, but you know, hot weather will be detrimental in several ways, one of which is producing sweat excessively. Ha Ha Ha…

Since it was my first time visiting, I didn't know where the Supertree was. I followed the maps on my phone and the directions in some places. It was quite a long journey. But the interesting thing is, there is one place that can show the corner of this city.

During the journey to find the beautiful Supertree, I found many things beyond my expectations. It was like seeing a monitor lizard on the road to the Supertree, besides that there were also many statues along the way. The statues are symbols of the history of the park. So, besides being a picnic, this park can also be used for a study tour.

After speeding up my steps, I finally met the flower dome. Unfortunately, to enter this area, there is a fee or you have to buy a ticket and for me the ticket price is not cheap. So I didn't visit it because yes, I wanted to go to a place that I didn't have to pay for. Maybe on the next visit, I will enter it. But for this trip I wanted to enter an area that was free of charge. See you later flower dome.
I had circled around on this road to find the Supertree and stopped for a while after finding Marina Bay. I didn't expect that I could see Marina Bay from here. I thought Marina Bay could only be seen from Merlion Park. It turns out that you can also see it from Garden Bay, and it even looks bigger.

After walking for a few minutes, I finally found this Supertree Grove. I had seen this supertree through people's posts on HIVE and on social media. It is said that it will be very beautiful at night because there are performances. But I couldn't be there until late.

Although the weather when visiting Supertree was very hot, I still stayed sitting on one of the supertrees for a few hours. While waiting I read a novel and ate ice cream sold around the Supertree. It was a fun experience to go to a place on my bucket list alone. Solo traveling is a fun experience, and for solo travelers beginners, Singapore is the right place to do it.

That is because the kurs my country to Singapore Dollars have big different, so that's why travel to singapore still expensive for me. I prefer to look for free destination. :D
Yes, there is a big difference between the Singapore dollar for travel and your country. However, since we are looking for a better place to travel, the place ends up being a bit more expensive. But anyway, you enjoyed the place and it is in the place.

I had a chance to visit Singapore in 2009. The impressions I got were etched in my memory forever. Sintoza, Merlion and musical fountains, a lot of things - I will definitely visit there again someday!
