Hello traveler...

2024 has become the last year even though it has only been 4 days. For that, I want to do a flashback, even though it is a little late. 2024 is the year where I took several trips, both abroad and in domestic cities. I know the number of my trips is still not as many as other true travelers, but if compared to my trips in previous years, of course, 2024 is the year I have done the most.
Every trip gives a new experience that is fun and I want to repeat it again another time.
Let's get it!
January - Japan
Japan has never been on my bucket list. I like snow but I want to play in the snow in another country. But for some reason when my office friend said that he was going to Japan, I got excited. I took care of my own visa, without an intermediary, how cool this is, that I can get a visa with my own efforts. A lot happened while I was taking care of it, and I am proud to have gone through it.
Many things happened while in Japan, but from all the events there I only remember that I was happy to be in Japan and explore some cities there. I achieved my goal of wanting to play in the snow for a long time. I was in Japan for 15 days, long enough but honestly, I was not satisfied. I was waiting for snowfall. Unfortunately, when I got home, it just started snowing. Aaahh, next trip I will wait for snowfall to actually happen.
February - Hiking in Papandayan
The following month I did my first hiking on Mount Papandayan with my friends. I had never climbed a mountain before, so at first I was very excited. But when I finished it, I thought I should think twice about climbing a mountain, especially if the mountain was not as flat as Mount Papandayan. Maybe I would have chosen to just stay home.
From March to April I didn't travel anywhere because I focused on work and fasting. Yup, it was during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, so I had no reason to travel other than to go back to my hometown.
Mei – Vietnam
Previously, I never planned to go to Vietnam, but videos on my social media kept showing me how beautiful and affordable Vietnam is. I was fascinated by the beauty of Sa Pa, Vietnam, so I decided to travel there. Vietnam is the only country in ASEAN that has winter. Although it was not winter when I visited, Sa Pa - Vietnam was cold because it was in the mountains. I enjoyed my vacation there, it was very satisfying.
July – Malang
Based on the fun but tiring experience in Papandayan, my friend and I planned another trip to Mount Ijen, East Java. But unfortunately, Ijen was experiencing an earthquake so the climb was closed. That's why we did plan b, we went to Malang and took a trip to Bromo. Again, I never put Bromo on my bucket list but I finally went there. Should I delete Europe from my bucket list so that later I can go there like the previous experience?
The trip to Malang was full of jokes, laughter, grateful, uncertainty, stupidity and happiness. I like all about things in Malang especially their wheather, also the orderliness of its residents. It was very comfortable, I felt like I wanted to go there again.
Sept – Singapore & Malaysia
September was my first experience of Solo Traveling. I did plan it, not inviting anyone. Because I am a new solo traveler, I chose Singapore and Malaysia as my first destinations. They said Singapore and Malaysia are suitable countries for beginner solo travelers, and I proved it.
I enjoyed my first solo traveling. I even felt like I had to go there alone again. I went to popular destinations that were free. Singapore is a comfortable country for people who like to walk like me.
October - Pengalengan
Pengalengan became the closing destination of my trip this year. Just like Sa Pa – Vietnam, West Java is a province on the island of Java, Indonesia that has a low temperature. You have to wear a jacket during the day when you are there and feel winter even though there is no snow.
2024 can’t slip on my mind because many good things happened. Although this year I plan to take a rest and not go anywhere, but who knows the future?
Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...
Vivie Hardika
Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
All what an incredibly beautiful view ❤️
Indeed, all places had beautiful view.
