Hello traveler...

There is no snow in my country, that's why I like going to countries that have winter because I like snow. Maybe because I was influenced by old films that were filmed in Switzerland so I became obsessed with winter. When it's winter, we will wear thick jackets, beanie hats, and scarves. I like wearing the winter outfit with those 3 things. Because I can't possibly wear them in my tropical country, so I like to go to other countries during winter. Because I can't possibly wear them in my tropical country, so I like to go to other countries during winter.
My first winter was when I visited Turkey in 2022. Even though I struggled quite a bit with the cold on Mount Erciyes, it was still a very pleasant memory because it was my first time playing in the snow. I then repeated that memory this year. This is my second time on vacation during winter. I chose Japan.
Shirakawa-Go
Before going to Japan, I thought that all of Japan would be covered in snow at the end of the year. But apparently I was wrong. Not all of Japan is snowy. I first arrived in Osaka and there was no snow there. Even though there was no snow, Osaka was still cold, so I still had to wear a thick jacket. As a tropical person, 10 degrees Celsius is very cold for me. After exploring popular places in Osaka, I moved to Gifu prefecture. Of course, the main reason is to play in the snow.

I have never expected that I will to go to Shirakawa village. As I mentioned in previous posts, I trusted my personal guide with the itinerary so I didn't have a list of places I wanted to visit. I just wanted to see the snow, that was my message to him. Then on the last day in Osaka, we went to Shirakawa Go because his friend also had a trip there. I was enthusiastic because after searching on the internet, Shirakawa Go was a beautiful snowy village.
When we arrived, Shirakawa was still quite quiet. There were only a few people there, it could be seen from the number of parked cars. Yup, to reach Shirakawa Go, there is no public transportation. Upon arrival, I immediately looked for piles of snow. After walking a few steps, I finally arrived at this snowfield. It was definetely a very amazing moment for me. As far as the my eye could see, I only saw snow.

Shirakawa Go is a wonderful village located around the mountains. Although Shirakawa village has many hostels and restaurants, its naturalness is still maintained. When I went there, it was already noon because it took us a long time to get to Shirakawa Go from Nagano prefecture.

Shirakawa Go is still very natural. When walking around, I felt like I was in the past because the buildings there were still made of wood and thatched roofs. There were some buildings whose wood looked old, even so the buildings still stood strong. Those were buildings from restaurants and hostels. So for tourists who want to stay, there are many rooms available. But don't run out, because every day the rooms at Shirakawa Go are always sold out.

Vivie Hardika
Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
You did it well and you also managed to capture every beautiful moment well, have a nice day.
Thank you @riyat
You're welcome, keep up the good work 💪
Awesome to see someone who is so much in love with snow as you are @viviehardika! Here in Germany we like it for 2 weeks and then wish summer to come back hahaha. I guess the winter challenge is perfect for you then! Keep it up! And thanks for bringing in such positive vibes <3
Thanks for stopping by, this is my honor when you appear and enjoy my post.Hi @lizanomadsoul even though I Love Snow, I can't stay around the snow for long because it's very cold. When I'm in Japan and feel cold, there's a feeling of regret for choosing winter as my favorite season because in fact I'm always cold and can't do many things when I'm cold. It's same to you, that I want to go back to my tropic country :D
Yup, this is a fun challenge. You and worldmappin's team are awesome @lizanomadsoul, thanks a buck for this challenge.
Japan is one of my dream place, I really hope I can visit this country soon. Experiencing snow in Japan is a dream come true. 🤗
I wish you will catch your dream and unlocked your bucket list..
That looks I credible! Wintertime in Japan is a dream!
Everyone was told me that they have the same dream when I was there.
Yeah Japan sounds just like a different world!
