I had the pleasure of visiting Rama IX Park in Bangkok, known for being the city's largest green space. It lives up to is reputation because this was, by far, the largest park I've ever seen! The park was full of people, gardens, playgrounds, lakes and ponds.

I don't think these maps display the true size of this massive park.

Rama IX park was filled with the craziest looking branches, bulbs, and blooms! The park must employee a few hundred people to maintain such a diverse landscape.

Check these plants out!

Each garden seemed to have a theme. This one in particular seemed to be traditionally Chinese (correct me in the comments below). This was my favorite garden because of its unique architecture and pagodas.

People were exercising in a variety of ways including Thai Chi, Swimming, Tennis, and Kick Boxing.

This group was practicing for a performance. You could tell that their craft takes alot of hardwork and dedication.

Like Lumphini Park, there was a packed outdoor outdoor gym.

There was also an 'Old English' park that we didn't have time to explore, but here are a few shots from a distance.

A botanical dome caontaining desert cati was nesstled in a far corner of the grounds.

These plants reminded me of my cross country trip through the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico.

For 50 baht (Approximately $1.50) you can rent a paddle boat for a half hour. It's much harder than it looks.

After ten minutes in this fiberglass duck, my legs were feeling the burn.

There was so much more that I was able to capture, but wish that I could have spent more time exploring.
