Sometimes when it's lunchtime at work, I try to eat as quickly as possible and go out for a short walk, but within 30 minutes, so I usually take about 5 minutes to eat. Then when I go out, I try to go to nearby places that I don't know and take my camera to take pictures. On this occasion, I walk a little further than the San Felix Boardwalk, a place I've already talked about on this platform, but even so, this walk is longer than I thought. Therefore, 30 minutes is not enough to cover everything.
A place I would like to visit is the port of Palua, it is an area where there are landings of industrial ships mainly from a company in the area called Ferrominera, although I do not know if it is possible to access or get close to that area, it has been close but I still have a long way to go, while here we can see some photos of that journey, where always at my side you will see the Orinoco and Caroni rivers, while you can also continue to see solid land on the other side of the rivers, where geographically they are other states of Venezuela.
This place also has many trees and a bit of animal life, while there are people who usually spend the day fishing or bathing in the river, which by the way you always have to be careful when bathing in these rivers, because even though you can see its calm waters suddenly there can be strong currents or even alligators, for those reasons I have always had respect for these rivers.
Even though my time was limited because I had to go back to work, I was able to go beyond this Malecón and capture other perspectives of this area, where there is a lot of vegetation, the feeling of that heat produced by the humidity of the river and appreciating the whole environment in general, is partly a therapy for me as part of those rewards for the 30 minutes even if I have to sacrifice my rest after eating, although it is not every day that I do this activity.
There may be other more interesting places in this area, which perhaps many locals will know well, but little by little I am going around and getting to know a little of those places where the natural environment is mostly appreciated in contrast with the city, because that is Ciudad Guayana - Venezuela, a city where the contrast between the industrial, the residential and the natural is very noticeable, with large natural parks and the presence of rivers in almost every corner of the city. So much so that from my apartment, through one of my rooms, I can see the river, and every day I take a bus over one of the bridges that connect the city of Puerto Ordaz with San Félix, with those same waters that you can see in some of these photographs that I have exhibited.

It is undoubtedly the best that nature has to offer.
