Here in Italy the pandemic situation is getting better, still there is a lot of confusion and fear and I think it's normal, still can't travel much, but I hope it will soon recover great!
Every now and then I like to look back at photos of trips I've made in the past and today I decided to tell you about a wonderful experience I had in Sirolo: a beautiful town in the heart of the Marche region very famous for its beautiful beaches, sunshine and endless nature that surrounds it.

Qui in Italia la situazione pandemica sta migliorando, ancora c'è tanta confusione e tanta paura e credo sia normale, ancora non si può viaggiare molto, ma spero che presto si riprenderà alla grande!
Ogni tanto mi piace riguardare foto di viaggi che ho fatto nel passato e oggi ho deciso di parlarvi di una bellissima esperienza che ho vissuto a Sirolo: una bellissima città nel cuore della regione Marche molto famosa per le sue bellissime spiagge, per il sole e per l'infinita natura che la circonda. Cosa aspettiamo? Andiamo a scoprirla insieme! 😎

Who you see here in the picture, with these horrible glasses and dressed like a wild man is me; happier than ever! In fact you should know that when I travel I love to be in close contact with nature and I often forget how I'm dressed, combed or what I eat.
Traveling is one of those experiences that fills me up completely and therefore I don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone, I simply live what I see, and my consciousness is pervaded by every sensation.
I love this aspect of life, in my opinion it's one of the most beautiful things you can experience; of course you have to go to some amazing places, and if you don't have one in mind, Sirolo is definitely for you! 😎
COMINCIAMO IL VIAGGIO
Quello che vedete qui nella foto, con questi orribili occhiali e vestito come un selvaggio sono io; più felice che mai! Infatti dovete sapere che quando viaggio io amo stare a contatto stretto con la natura e spesso dimentico di come sono vestito, pettinato o cosa mangio.
Il viaggio è una di quelle esperienze che mi riempie completamente e quindi non sento l'esigenza di dimostrare niente a nessuno, semplicemente vivo quello che vedo, e la mia coscienza viene pervasa da ogni sensazione.
Amo questo aspetto della vita, secondo me è una delle cose più belle che si possano provare; ovviamente bisogna andare in dei posti stupendi, e se non ne avete in mente uno, Sirolo è sicuramente ciò che fa per voi! 😎
The profile of this coast is wonderful, the elevated pine forests that line the seashore allow us to see beautiful views, see? the contrast of the crystal blue water and sky with the bright green of nature? This is certainly the most beautiful thing.... vivid colors, with a saturation and vividness that sticks in our eyes and fills us with beauty.
If I had to give an image to happiness, I would use those exact colors.
Il profilo di questa costa è meraviglioso, le pinete sopraelevate che costeggiano la riva del mare ci permettono di vedere bellissimi panorami, vedete? il contrasto dell'azzurro cristallino dell'acqua e del cielo con il verde brillante della natura? Questa è senz'altro la cosa più bella... colori vivi, con una saturazione e una vividezza che si imprime nei nostri occhi e ci riempie di bellezza.
Se dovessi dare un'immagine alla felicità, userei proprio questi esatti colori.
Ho scattato un paio di foto a tradimento alla mia ragazza che intanto si faceva gli affari suoi.
la cosa bella di Sirolo è che ovunque ti giri vedi il mare, e l'acqua è di una purezza assoluta.
Sirolo is at an altitude of 125 m above sea level, it is located south at the foot of Mount Conero, in fact almost all of its territory is part of the Regional Park of Conero and overlooks the Adriatic Sea.
Sirolo is known for its eight beaches: San Michele, the coast of the Sassi Neri, spiaggia delle Velare (beach of the Two Sisters), spiaggia dei Lavori, spiaggia dei Forni, spiaggia dei Gabbiani and spiaggia dei Frati or del Bo'.
SCOPRIAMO SIROLO
Sirolo è ad un'altitudine di 125 m s.l.m., si trova a sud alle pendici del Monte Conero, infatti la quasi totalità del suo territorio fa parte del Parco regionale del Conero e si affaccia sul mare Adriatico.
Sirolo è conosciuta per le sue otto spiagge: San Michele, la costa dei Sassi Neri, spiaggia delle Velare (spiaggia delle Due Sorelle), spiaggia dei Lavori, spiaggia dei Forni, spiaggia dei Gabbiani e la spiaggia dei Frati o del Bo'.
Sirolo is one of the first human settlements in the Marche region and the signs of their presence date back to 100,000 years ago.
In the Neolithic age other communities settled in Sirolo and in the Conero and still, going down in time, other presences, in the Bronze age, and other settlements, the Picenes, animated this land, sowing it with inhabited areas and then with necropolis, still not all unearthed today.
In Sirolo there is an archaeological itinerary in the largest Picenian necropolis of the Marche (VI century B.C.) - the only one which can be visited in the region - where extraordinary and numerous finds have been discovered which make up the funerary associations of an extraordinary burial such as the so-called "Tomb of the Queen". The almost two thousand finds from the aforementioned tomb confirm the existence of a community that had reached a high conception of the female role within ancient Italic society.
Sirolo è uno dei primi insediamenti umani nelle Marche i segni della loro presenza databile a 100.000 anni fa.
Nell'età neolitica altre comunità si stanziarono a Sirolo e nel Conero e ancora, scendendo più giù nel tempo, altre presenze, nell'età del bronzo, ed altri insediamenti, quelli piceni, animarono questa terra, seminandola di abitati e poi di necropoli, ancora oggi non tutte dissepolte.
A Sirolo vi è un percorso archeologico nella più grande necropoli picena delle Marche (VI secolo a.C.) - l'unica visitabile nella regione – in cui sono stati rinvenuti straordinari e numerosissimi reperti che compongono le associazioni funerarie di una straordinaria sepoltura qual è la cosiddetta “Tomba della Regina”. I quasi duemila ritrovamenti della predetta tomba confermano l'esistenza di una comunità che aveva raggiunto una concezione elevata del ruolo femminile all'interno dell'antica società italica.
Even the Greeks settled here, starting from the 4th century B.C., going up the coasts of Southern Italy, in these places they found rich and fertile lands in which to found cities.
Here they established their dwelling and called the Conero Komaros, renamed by the Romans Cumerium - arbutus - because in October Monte Conero is colored with arbutus: fruits that became the symbol of friendliness and welcome to the guest.
The Romans instead came and settled in Sirolo, they appreciated the crops and the wine and left as evidence hydraulic works such as the aqueduct and artistic furnishings in the villas of the territory.
During the Roman domination it was part of the cives Humanae.
Anche i Greci si stanziarono qui, a partire dal IV secolo a.C., risalivano le coste dell'Italia Meridionale, in questi luoghi trovarono terre ricche e feconde in cui fondare città.
Qui fissarono la loro dimora e chiamarono il Conero Komaros, ribattezzato dai Romani Cumerium – corbezzolo - perché a ottobre il Monte Conero si colora di corbezzoli: frutti diventati il simbolo della cordialità e del benvenuto all'ospite.
I Romani invece giunsero e si insediarono a Sirolo, ne apprezzarono le messi e il vino e lasciarono a loro testimonianza opere idrauliche come l'acquedotto e arredi artistici nelle ville del territorio.
Durante il dominio romano faceva parte della cives Humanae.
The municipality of Sirolo, together with those of Ancona, Camerano and Numana, is included within the Regional Park of Conero, which was established in 1987.
The Conero Park extends for 6,011 hectares, behind the promontory of Mount Conero. It presents a particularly rich ecosystem from the faunistic point of view.

La flora, invece, è in prevalenza macchia mediterranea: tra i principali arbusti vi sono il corbezzolo (da cui il monte Conero prende il nome), il leccio, il pino di Aleppo, il tino, il lentisco.
In ottemperanza alla legge regionale 52 del 30 dicembre 1976, sono state istituite nel comune di Sirolo tre aree floristiche protette: quella sul versante orientale del monte Conero; quella sul versante meridionale del Conero; quella della Baia delle Due Sorelle e della Spiaggia dei Gabbiani.
Questa è una vista molto bella del mare dalla pineta che si trova prima delle spiagge, il blu del mare che contrasta con il verde della natura, davvero fantastico!
This is a very nice view of the sea from the pine forest that is before the beaches, the blue of the sea contrasting with the green of the nature, really fantastic!
Quando vado a Sirolo amo stare sotto al sole e stendermi sulle spiagge incontaminate.
When I go to Sirolo I love to stay under the sun and lay on the pristine beaches.
I never managed to visit the beach of her sisters which is the most beautiful beach of Sirolo, here you can find some very rare sea turtles and in fact this beach has a limited number of access during the days.
Non sono mai riuscito a visitare la spiaggia delle sue sorelle che è la spiaggia più bella di Sirolo, qui si trovano alcune tartarughe marine molto rare e infatti questa spiaggia ha un numero di accesso limitato durante le giornate.
La prima volta c he siamo stati qui, dopo a spiaggia, abbiamo scalato il monte Conero, non eravamo molto preparati, avevamo solo il costume e le scarpe che avevamo tenuto in spiaggia, è stata una bella esperienza, la prossima volte che andrò sarò più preparato.
The first time we were here, after the beach, we climbed Mount Conero, we were not very prepared, we only had our swimsuit and shoes that we had kept on the beach, it was a good experience, the next time I go I will be more prepared.
Maybe next time I'll do a little boat trip too, it would be really nice to see the coast from the sea and change the point of view, of course you need the boat 😅
Magari la prossima volta farò anche un giretto in barca, sarebbe davvero bello vedere la costa dal mare e cambiare il punto di vista, ovviamente ci vuole la barca 😅
Sirolo is really a paradise, I recommend anyone to go and spend a beautiful day under the sun.
The best months to go are definitely May-June-September, the times when the small beaches are not yet crowded.
CONCLUSIONI
Sirolo è davvero un paradiso, consiglio a chiunque di andare e passare una bellissima giornata sotto il sole.
I mesi migliori per andare sono sicuramente Maggio-Giugno-Settembre, i momenti in cui le piccole spiagge non sono ancora affollate.
I think this place is also beautiful during the spring, a time when not everyone can get into the water but still you can have wonderful walks and relax in the middle of nature.

Penso che questo posto sia bellissimo anche durante la primavera, periodo in cui non tutti riescono a entrare nell'acqua ma comunque si possono fare magnifiche passeggiate e rilassarsi in mezzo alla natura.
