Apparently, Da Lat has magic when anyone comes here they become entangled, unable to leave. Located on the Lam Vien plateau, Da Lat has no sea but exudes beauty, with lush pine forests, majestic landscapes, stunning flower gardens, and many landmarks worth mentioning. In addition, even though this is a mountain, there is an airport here, making it easier to move.
If you are tending to visit Da Lat around October to the end of December. You must aware of these things if you tend to visit at that moment, we have officially entered the dry season. You can even expect late showers sometimes in Da Lat. The cold air will be combined with mild cool wind and for people who were used to the tropical climate, it'll be pretty cold. From fall to winter, the world is changing and Da Lat was the same. You can see mist early in the morning or late at night obscuring the mountaintops or valley of the lantern homes.
More than that, you will also be surrounded by the bright color of wild sunflowers on this occasion. Many mountain streets were colored with these blooming flowers. Also, make your frames more vibrant. This is also the season for white cabbage, which is as lovely as the sky. It's a perfect time of year for spectacular rose gardens.
From January to February, this is the best time in the year to visit Da Lat. The weather was getting warmer and every street was colored naturally by the blooming flowers.
I came there in the early of February, the weather was still a bit cold for me. We booked a homestay named "Củi homestay" and it made me feel like "back to nature". And it just took me 15 mins to the center. But the experience it brought to me was so much different from the hustle and bustle of a modern city. Since you wake up, you can see amazing nature outside, and seem like you just need to open the window to enjoy that feeling.
In Dalat, you can explore famous waterfalls of Dalat like Pongour, Datanla, Dambri... and pine forests, strawberry farms and try the service PYO.
Dalat does not only attract tourists with the landscapes but also the food here. You can try many signature foods in Dalat like grilled meats, chicken hot-pot, and avocado ice cream. Landscapes and foods here will make your trip perfectly.
