On our 2024 summer vacation, we took a lovely trip to Patagonia, with no set times or places, just the intention of having a good time and letting everything flow. While we knew there were some places we wanted to see or revisit, we didn't have a set itinerary.
One of the cities where we stayed for three days was Bariloche, a place I had visited in passing a few years earlier, but hadn't had the time to explore or dedicate the time it deserves. While the city has a certain appeal, in my opinion, its magic lies in its landscapes, in the surrounding nature, in its lakes and forests.

🥈 Fehendoo Island, Maldives by @marinast
Hello friends, before leaving the Maldives the last island we visited was Fehendoo Island. The hotel we stayed at is called Tropical Village and it was located on the shore. That means we had the best ocean view from there. But this beach is not a bikini beach, so if you want to swim here, you need to cover up and wear modest clothing. The room had an air-conditioned fan. Since it gets quite hot in the evenings, air conditioning is essential. We had a TV, wardrobes and two safes for storing our belongings. Tea and coffee were free, while the minibar was paid. A Coca Cola from the minibar costs 3 dollars, which is not exactly cheap. The natural beauty here is open and, in my opinion wonderful. There are plants everywhere and there are also hangers to dry swimsuits, which I found to be a nice detail. The hotel room costs 135 dollars per night for two people including breakfast and dinner, so for two nights the total was 270 dollars.

🥉 La Manzanera route (Calpe, Spain) by @mipiano
Calpe is a town that I can't miss on Sundays. Okay, okay, maybe I am there for work, so I can't always walk around and enjoy it like tourists do, but last Sunday we made up for it. We spent the whole afternoon walking around, first through the old centre because we dropped our son off there, and then we walked to a neighbourhood called La Manzanera.
