I went to Sapa - I have some funny stories from a crazy hike we did there about 15 years ago. Lvoed Hanoi, felt like a proper mad Asian city - and the leap of faith onto the road and Hanoi beer sitting on little chairs watching the world go by was definitely one of my best travel mems. Wasn't that much of a fan of Halong Bay though.
