RE: Land of Thousand Poets, Turkeyi in A Week | My First Time Travel Abroad

in Worldmappin3 years ago

Thank you for the story. It was interesting to see Turkey through the eyes of an Indonesian person.

Food of another continent is always a challenge. It was with me when I visited Asia. When I came to Thailand for the first time, I didn't understand what to eat. So many weird tastes and smells: fish sauce, holy basil, sweet meat, chicken blood, etc. (Though I liked some Thai dishes from the beginning.) And now - after many months and many visits of Thailand - I love Thai food, I consider it to be one of the best I've ever experienced.

Traveling changes and this is good and bad as well - bad because when you love many cities and cuisines, you miss these cities and cuisines :) I also miss Istanbul, by the way. :)

you're right. The taste felt weird cause I have never tried before. Im sure that I eat often times, I will deal with that taste.

Thank you for stopping by.
