Hello everyone!
Who says content creation is easy? I struggled to conjure words to make a proper blog in the past few days. I felt that this had been a cycle. There's always a lack of motivation to post something, but then I realized that my Palawan series is still far from completion and I'll be back in January next year. I don't want to have another set of photos while I'm still not done with our first visit. So, I am trying my best to go to the path I intended to tread in this series. No more distractions. Hopefully.
During our first visit, the third day of the Coron tour was all about islands with white sand beaches and sandbars. There were three islands on the itinerary that day: (1)
Bulog Dos Island, (2)
Ditaytayan Sandbar, and (3)
Malcapuya Island. I already shared about the
instagrammable Bulog Dos Island, which by the way, has one of the best interactions I've received here in Hive. This time, I'll share about
Malcapuya Island, the last island we visited, and the signal that our stay in Coron was about to end.
If Bulog Dos Island is instagrammable, Malcapuya Island is immaculate. When we arrived at the island, I was just staring at the white sand and crystal blue water while regaining my energy. It was so beautiful!
After Ditaytayan Sandbar, we arrived at the west side of Malcapuya Island. It's where boats are docked. I was a little bit disappointed by the scene there because I thought that was all the island has to offer. But Zaniel told me that the best part of the island is on the other side. We had to walk for a few meters, through the center of island, to reach the other side.
Cottages under the canopy of coconut trees greeted us on the other side. White sand and crystal blue water is just a few paces away. I mean look at that view!
I'm not sure about this information, but I learned in our second visit that the travel and tours that we booked owned the island. I was really amazed by how one tour company can own such beauty. When you visit Malcapuya Island, expect nothing but untouched nature and pure peace.
While Bulog Dos Island offers an exotic appeal, Malcapuya Island offers complete escape. The reason is that it's not developed. Although it's not too far from the main town of Coron, there's not much going on there except one shop that sells coconuts for Php 50.00. You will be surrounded by nothing but the beach and the sea.
There's a snorkelling area at the southwest part of the island where a small fishing boat will just tug you to get there and the fee is Php 100.00. For me, that's not worth it because if you're with an island hopping package, you will surely visit some awesome snorkelling spots. I just sat there at the beach, under a coconut tree, while having my early afternoon peace. It was just heaven.
Malcapuya Island is one of the reasons why Palawan is always in the Top 10 of Conde Nast Travelers' Best Islands in Asia. This year, Palawan is at Top 8 while Boracay is Top 1. I guess it's safe for me to claim that I have been to the best island beaches in the world.
I guess that's all for this post. See you at the next Philippine Islands feature! To end, here's the list of my posts about my adventures in Coron:

It's understandable why you were just staring at the scenery on Malcapuya Island. I have to say that even though I've never been to Moorea or Bora Bora, the photos remind me a little bit of the photos of those islands with the turquoise sea and the mountains in the background.
Greetings!
True. There are similarities to those islands you mentioned. To think I can just travel for a few hours here in my hometown and I can experience the turquoise sea and white sand beaches, I must be blessed!
You can do it my friend 😁🧘🏻♀️🤓 I know it can be hard to create…
We love your posts and are eagerly awaiting more updates on your adventures 😎🤩 I mean it. But no pressure 🤗

About the island, did you rent the whole island in that day?, seems your just the visitor on the island. And indeed the beach and water is so pristine. Coron is a travel destination dream to explore and Im one of those manifesting to visit this place and with your blog I determined to wander Palawan soon.
Thank you for sharing 😊
Diba! Gamit kaayo ang dictionary ug thesaurus ba. 😂 I kept on convincing myself that the opportunity cost is too big if I won't post, but still it's not enough. Lihok kay pobre ka. Pero di gihapon. 😭
No, we didn't rent the island. It's just that there are a few visitors there that day. Maybe because it's owned by the tour company we chose.
Manifesting that you will be able to travel to Palawan soon! Book na dayon!
Puhon... Promise cross my heart hope sila lang mamatay kasi magtratravel pa ako dito 😅
Mubalik ko El Nido sa January. Mao hibernate sa ko this year. Puyo kay need magtigom. haha
The sand is so white that I thought that the bottoms of some of the photos just didn´t upload :D Incredible shots from an incredible place. I hope the teleport will be invented soon, cannot wait to teleport myself over there...

Hopefully you can visit soon!
This island/beach is very clean, as well as the support of white sand and blue water, making the visitors more comfortable to be there.
I want to swim when I see beaches like this. :D
True! I was really at peace when I was there. It's one of the spots where I don't want to do anything and I'm still satisfied.
Now that I have been to the most beautiful beaches here in the Philippines, I don't want to swim on any beach anymore. It should be pristine. I'm excited for next year!
Yeah, one of the destinations of a good visit, would like to follow in your footsteps.😁
What a lovely view as I wake up and read your post.
It's mind-blowing and eases my mind.
Have a lovely day. @ybanezkim26
Nice! I'm glad to have this kind of feedback. This is one of the testaments that I'm somehow doing the right thing. Have an awesome day!
Writing and capturing our nature are the best forms of self-healing. Best wishes to you, @ybanezkim26
Palawan, I mean Philippines as a whole, really has a lot to offer when it comes to tropical islands with mesmerizing views. I've always put Palawan on my top 5 to-visit list and hopefully, I'll will have the chance to view it in person once I have the budget.
Rooting for you to visit all the places in your bucket list! Hopefully you can visit Palawan the soonest!
@ybanezkim26 We have an advertisement for chocolate with coconut "Bounty" in Ukraine🤣. Advertising on the background of such landscapes and it says: Paradise pleasure! So I look at your photos and ... Really, there is probably heavenly pleasure.
It is paradise! The chocolate advertisement is right.
@ybanezkim26 Yes, I agree. When I see that advertisement, I want everything at once. For example, to the sea under palm trees and chocolate🤣
Grabe inggit akooooo. hehehe.
I hope to explore one soonest.
!PIZZA
Yay! Soon ikaw naman!
I am not a beach lover, but seeing the photos of this place I was impressed by its white sands and the blue of its waters and sky. Without a doubt it is an excellent place to visit. Greetings !
Indeed! I know not everyone loves beaches, but I'm sure if you visit these places you won't regret.
Incredibly beautiful beach, this is definitely someday I want to visit this place, thank you for opening our eyes to see so much beauty in various corners of the earth, one of them is the philippines
Rooting for you to be able to visit here soon!💪
yes thanks mate.
Is it all in the Philippines, @ybanezkim26? Real beauty! Sea, sea ... It's a pity I haven't been to the sea for a long time. Other thoughts are disturbing, because now the country is at war. But, it was interesting to read and look at your photos. This is a piece of heaven! It even became somehow comfortable for a moment.
Yes! When it comes to the sea and beaches, we have it all here! I'm so glad you somehow felt comfortable amidst what you have been experiencing.
I'm sure Ukraine will win the war. Our thoughts and support are for you all there. I can't imagine what you've been through, but you are all a bunch of brave people. You all have become an inspiration to the world. Slava Ukraini!
Oh, it's great, it's nice to hear such words from foreigners - Glory to Ukraine! Cool, thanks for the support. Well, or in Ukrainian, thank you - "dyakuyu"😉👍🇺🇦
I'm constantly monitoring the developments since the start of the invasion. No matter what the reason is, the atrocities committed against civilians are unforgivable.
I agree! It's really hard to put it into words, haha the struggle is real :) But I think, it also helped me to discover new words especially the synonyms hahahah.
Thesaurus is the key! Plus grammarly!
I acn relate to you. Sometimes I also don't find words to write what I feel.
The island is sure wonderful. The photos are saying how much the place can refresh ourselves.
I know right! It's difficult to fully convey what you want to communicate especially if English is not your first language.
Totally 🙂
