Esta frase me ha caído como anillo al dedo, he comenzado la semana recordando buenos tiempos, tengo 20 años de graduada en el sector turismo ¡aunque usted no lo crea! y he decidido retomar - renovar mi área con más fuerza.

Aunque me gradué en el 2000, no comencé de manera activa mi profesión hasta el año 2005 cuando se realizó por primera vez en nuestro país la primera feria internacional del turismo denominada FITCAR (Feria Internacional de Turismo Caracas) y trabajé como guía voluntario de protocolo. Anteriormente toqué puertas a nivel laboral pero al tener solo buenas notas y ninguna experiencia en el sector no conseguí nada de empleo, no me preocupaba mucho porque en aquel entonces apoyaba a mi familia en un emprendimiento propio.
Luego de éso, se me abrieron las puertas y aprendí muchísimo desde personal de protocolo y etiqueta para eventos varios pasando por plan vacacional, guía, transporte turístico y ejecutivo, agencias de viajes…
Para el año 2012 decidí arriesgarme y comenzar por mi cuenta,había llegado la hora de emprender, ¡Lo había visualizado! Me rodee de los mejores, amigos geniales diseñadores gráficos para hacer mi tarjeta de presentación hasta colegas para organizar todo lo referente, desde realizando reservaciones de planes turísticos todo incluido, pasando por la capacitación y organización de eventos. Fue un orgullo total cuando no representé a ninguna otra empresa sino a mi misma como Promociones Turismo Yen en las diversas ruedas de negocios.

Cómo anécdota trabajando en la agencia de viajes, puedo contar mi experiencia disfrutando del Fam Trip para el Crucero Nacional Olas Cruises, el Fam Trip es un viaje de familiarizar exclusivo para profesionales del turismo, dicho plan lo organizó una mayorista de viajes y nos fuimos un fin de semana saliendo un viernes y retornando un lunes bien temprano a las 7: 00 am, es decir; un plan de 4 días 3 noches. En un puerto de Maiquetía del Estado La Guaira nos esperaba el personal a cargo para verificar equipaje, identidad, etc.

El itinerario de viajes era bien chévere, las noches eran temáticas, por ejemplo algo así: deben presentarse en la disco vestidos de los años 60, el otro día caribeño y él último era blanco y negro, que por cierto me encantó porque me sentí parte de la tripulación.

Nos dieron un recorrido al día siguiente para conocer a fondo todo,en detalle puedo explicar que en cuanto al servicio de habitaciones o camarotes en éste caso, nos explicaron que había cabinas internas y externas, las primeras no tienen claraboya o la ventana y las segundas si, ya que permiten mas iluminación natural y ver el mar obviamente. Nos explicaron que la mayoría de las habitaciones son con camas individuales porque normalmente en Europa así se maneja, sin embargo; en nuestro lado latino estaban tratando de adaptar camas matrimoniales.

Respecto a la recreación y alimentos y bebidas fue excelente, gastronomía super divina con platos típicos y también internacional a la carta para escoger, discoteca, juegos activos y pasivos y lo mas valioso a destacar fue su personal, era increíble como la chica que daba bailoterapia y animando toda la noche podía estar super fresca en la mañana muy temprano para servir el desayuno o el cheff que podía estar full preparando delicias y salía un momento para compartir con todos...

Ahora bien, cual es lo bueno, lo malo y lo feo de esta experiencia:
Bueno: maravilloso servicio incluso ofreció otras rutas muy buenas hacia Los Roques, buenas ventas, geniales recuerdos.
Malo: Que la operadora principal que organizó el servicio de crucero no supo organizar la sobreventa de reservaciones al crucero y muchos clientes quedaron sin disfrutar el servicio, al fallar un prestador de servicio fallamos todos.
Lo feo: Que al ser un solo barco ofreciendo cada fin de semana tanto en temporada baja como la alta se desgastó, se dañó y no hubo el interés adecuado para arreglar o aliarse con otros barcos.
