Hoy quiero compartirles unas hermosas fotografías que tomé a la catedral de Maturín, una edificación que siempre me ha llamado la atención por su majestuosidad e impotencia; desde que fuí a Maturín por primera vez cuando era una joven a estudiar en la universidad, y vi está edificación quedé impresionada por su belleza.
Ubicada en la Avenida Bolivar, en pleno centro de la ciudad, lo cual la hace de fácil acceso, es un punto de referencia y de encuentro para compartir con amigos y familiares, en las tardes se ve a los más pequeños en bicicleta 🚲 o patinando 🛼, mientras los adultos se sientan a conversar.
Ésta visita fué en época decembrina y estaba, hermosamente adornada, pero, en ésta oportunidad no quiero resaltar su decoración, sinobla belleza de su estructura.
Me sorprendió que en este viaje fuimos a visitar a una tía de mi esposo que vive como a 1 hora de distancia en bus 🚌, y desde allá se podía ver su impresionante torre🗼.
Con hermosas palmeras 🌲 que brindan sombra, y un césped verde, donde las personas se sientan a descansar, se puede observar sus dos enormes torres cada una con un reloj ⌚ en lo más alto, desde donde todo el pueblo pude ver la hora y su inmensa campana 🔔 que invita a los feligreses a la hora de los servicios religiosos.
Tiene 3 entradas, siendo la principal con triple puerta 🚪, que en ésta oportunidad la habían remodelado y eran eléctricas con vidrios.

Today I want to share with you some beautiful pictures I took of the cathedral of Maturin, a building that has always caught my attention for its majesty and impotence; since I went to Maturin for the first time when I was a young girl to study at the university, and I saw this building I was impressed by its beauty.
Located on Bolivar Avenue, in the heart of the city, which makes it easily accessible, it is a reference and meeting point to share with friends and family, in the afternoons you can see the little ones on bikes 🚲 or skating 🛼, while adults sit and talk.
This visit was during the Christmas season and it was beautifully decorated, but, in this opportunity I do not want to highlight its decoration, but the beauty of its structure.
I was surprised that on this trip we went to visit an aunt of my husband who lives about 1 hour away by bus 🚌, and from there you could see its impressive tower🗼.
With beautiful palm trees 🌲 that provide shade, and a green lawn, where people sit to rest, you can observe its two huge towers each with a clock ⌚ at the top, from where the whole town I could see the time and its huge bell 🔔 that invites parishioners at the time of religious services.
It has 3 entrances, being the main one with triple door 🚪, which in this opportunity had been remodeled and were electric with glass.
Nunca había entrado, pero, en este viaje, decidí entrar para verla por dentro, y, quedé admirada es más bella que por fuera, el piso es hermoso, todo de granito, enormes bancos de madera dispuestos en ambos lados.
Lo más impresionante son las cúpulas, uno alza la vista y se le pierde viéndolas, tienen una enorme altura que desde adentro se refleja en una gran profundidad con ventanas redondas en todo alrededor, iluminadas con hermosas lámparas.
En la parte superior tiene un balcón todo de granito, y los vitrales en las paredes son bellos, todos con diferentes figuras, emnarcados en granito; es realmente una impresionante obra de arquitectura que vale la pena admirar.
Si vas a la ciudad de Maturin, te invito a visitar la catedral y admirar su belleza.

I had never been inside, but, on this trip, I decided to go inside to see it from the inside, and, I was admired, it is more beautiful than the outside, the floor is beautiful, all granite, huge wooden benches arranged on both sides.
The most impressive are the domes, you look up and you get lost seeing them, they have an enormous height that from inside is reflected in a great depth with round windows all around, illuminated with beautiful lamps.
At the top it has a balcony all made of granite, and the stained glass windows on the walls are beautiful, all with different figures, carved in granite; it is really an impressive work of architecture worth admiring.
