Hello everyone let me take you to one of the tourist spots in Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines. This is our municipal hall, in the picture is my daughter having fun.
I want to introduce to you the Mantianak Botanical Garden and Zoological Park situated along National Highway in Poblacion, Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental. Way back before this is just a forest and an idle place but the Local Government Unit turned it into something the town can be proud of.
This is the best place for family bonding especially with children because there are a lot of animals they can see here.
There is ostrich, crocodile, snakes, monkeys, birds, fish, deer and wild pigs.
The most visited animal here is the tiger.
Not only the animals but the place is relaxing. You can sit under the trees having meal with your family or having chitchat or just sitting their refreshing your mind.
The place is also best for wedding reception since it’s spacious and relaxing. The kids can run around without interrupting the program and other visitors.
You can also have dove feeding. It’s very satisfying to watch that tempt me to try but I never did it again haha, the beck is tickling.
The place really captures the best and purest smile a person can make. A candid laughter of pure joy and happiness.
The park is situated just along the national highway which is best for a side trip or if you are from far away there is no need to worry because they have rooms for you to stay the night.
It is the best opportunity also to explore other tourist spots in the place. There is Halseyley Hills which is only a few meters away from the highway, it has overlooking swimming pool where I can tour you in my next post and you can enjoy also the white sand beaches.

This picture looks great but the picture is a bit messy for this tour. That place is for everyone to enjoy the beauty. The beauty here and the nature here is really great.
