Hello traveler friends, happy beginning of the month. We resumed the week after a few days of vacation for Easter in my country, although we did not go to the beach as usual, we decided to visit La Llovizna Park, located in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.
Llegamos el sábado a eso de las 9:00am. Al ser temporada alta por semana santa, la afluencia de personas era alta, es una excelente opción para disfrutar de la naturaleza sin salir de la ciudad.
Justo en la entrada del parque nos encontramos con unos monos que nos dieron la bienvenida, algunos se acercaban para darles comida, manteniendo siempre la distancia claro está.
We arrived on Saturday around 9:00am. Being high season for Easter, the influx of people was high, it is an excellent option to enjoy nature without leaving the city.
Right at the entrance of the park we found some monkeys that welcomed us, some of them approached us to give them food, always keeping their distance of course.
A simple vista, la entrada del parque se mantenía verde, pero a medida que caminabamos iba cambiando la cuestión. Han sido meses de sequía en todo el estado. Por suerte las lluvias comenzaron ayer, espero con ansias volver a visitar el parque para disfrutarlo en todo su esplendor.
At first glance, the entrance to the park remained green, but as we walked around the park, things were changing. It has been months of drought throughout the state. Luckily the rains started yesterday, I look forward to revisiting the park to enjoy it in all its splendor.
Nunca dejaré de admirar las bellezas que nos ofrece la madre naturaleza y lo bendecidos que somos al poder disfrutar de ella. El paseo termina en esta majestuosa cascada. Si van a visitar el parque no olviden llevar su agua para hidratarse muy bien, protector solar y por que no? se pueden animar a hacer algo distinto como el Kayak.
I will never cease to admire the beauty that Mother Nature offers us and how blessed we are to be able to enjoy it. The tour ends at this majestic waterfall. If you are going to visit the park do not forget to bring your water to hydrate well, sunscreen and why not? you can dare to do something different like kayaking.

Interestingly, the park has been affected by the drought of the last few months, but I'm glad to hear that the recent rains have given you hope that you can visit it again in all its verdant glory. Nature is truly a precious gift that we must learn to respect and preserve.
