We train them that way.Crafty buggers that they are. As long as the water is as deep as their body is high they're good to go.Oh, so that's how sharks work, eh? I'm not sure if there's ever a shark problem here around Malaysia, although we do have quite a jellyfish problem. They sting!
The guy that was killed was standing in waist deep water. Sharks don't need much water to maneuver.
We've got jelly fish too...Irukandji and other types of box jellyfish...Deadly. They're up in the tropics though, where the crocodiles are. Are these the ones you have?
I really don't know, as I don't go to the beach too often. The beaches nearest to me are either too damn crowded, or too polluted. It's mostly only the islands away from the mainland of the peninsula where you can find lovely beaches. I've been to Tioman Island once, and the waters are gorgeous there, although only starfish made their presence known.
