Playing in the Waters of Coban Ciblungan: A Hidden Paradise in Malang

in Worldmappin2 months ago

The fresh scent of trees greeted us as we entered the forest area in Malang. That afternoon, our journey towards Coban Ciblungan felt like venturing into untouched nature. A narrow path flanked by tall trees and the distant sound of trickling water acted as our guide, leading us closer to this hidden waterfall.

Upon arrival, we stood in awe. Coban Ciblungan, with its crystal-clear waters, seemed to welcome us with its natural charm. The cascading water from the cliffs, forming a beautiful curtain of water, gave the impression that we had just discovered a small paradise. Surrounded by large rocks and lush green trees, the atmosphere was serene—only the sounds of nature and the roar of water breaking the silence.

Without wasting any time, we kicked off our shoes and dipped our feet into the cold water. As soon as I touched the surface, the refreshing sensation spread through my entire body. The water at Coban Ciblungan was so clear that we could see small fish swimming among the rocks. There was a temptation to dive in, but the depth of the pool beneath the waterfall kept us content with playing around the edges.

One of the most enjoyable parts of playing in the waters of Coban Ciblungan was sitting under the flow of the waterfall. Though not too strong, the falling water provided a natural massage-like sensation on our backs. Sitting beneath the waterfall, I could feel all the weariness vanish, as if the water washed away every burden of thought with it.

Aside from playing in the water, another highlight was sitting on the large rocks while chatting. It felt as if time moved slower here. The setting sun behind the trees cast a golden light that added a magical touch to the scenery. We just sat, enjoying the harmony of nature, accompanied by the sounds of birds and the gentle breeze.

That day ended with an indescribable sense of satisfaction. Coban Ciblungan, though hidden within the forest, is a place worth exploring for anyone seeking peace and a connection with nature. We left with lighter hearts and memories that will linger. Coban Ciblungan is more than just a waterfall; it is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
