Yesterday @clairemobey and I took a nice stroll in Fisherhaven, South Africa. Below are some of the photos I took on our walk.
Fisherhaven is near Hermanus, which is a coastal tourist town. While I have not seen all of Fisherhaven, the area had houses spaced far apart. Generally holiday homes or homes for people who can afford to retire to this peaceful little nook of the world.
I really would not mind having a house and a veggie garden here. Something with a nice big yard I could do a bunch of self-sustainable installations. That would be the life.
If I ever came into a bit of money and I could re-work the way my financial structure works, I would write and blog and farm my own veg etc instead of living in the city... that would be the dream...
In any case, please enjoy the pictures in the post!
Have a great day!
Cheers!

thanks for your help with the post.
Love the view. Looks like a great place to paint. I love painting little countryside road scenes with lots of grass, road and mountain and a building or two...
There is a lagoon and an ocean here as well with a public slipway for fishing boats.
A self sustainable living is one of my goals in life and own a huge land can help bring this to reality. I love the environment even from the pictures, being far away from the city noise and hassle is a huge things.
Nice shots, trust you enjoyed the walk.
You need a decent sized big of property to be self sufficient but you do not need a huge land. I think a person needs to practice self sustainability in your own intended climate for a while to figure out what Space you really need. 🤔
