Its summer season already! Can't believe how each day passes by so fast. The last time i remember i was still complaining because it keeps on raining and now i complain because of the super hot weather. Anyone can feel me? I feel like i'm inside the oven hahaha😂. Hope everyone is doing well and fine in this summer season. Always stay hydrated to all the people in the Hive community.
Just last weekened, we had our very quick summer vacation, actually when it comes to beaches and resorts we usually choose somewhere in south but my sister insisted that we should try some beaches somewhere in north of Cebu. Honestly this quick vacation is for my nieces' birthday, we usually celebrate her birthday in beaches or resorts since its summer time. One of the hardest thing to do when its summer time, is choosing the best place or resort that can fit our needs as a family. Its more easier to find a place when its only me and my boyfriend but it will be a double effort if its for a whole family.
Luckily we found Estaca Bay Gardens and Conference Resort located in Compostela Cebu. We're so glad that its not that far, its just an hour away if its not traffic from our home which is only in Labangon, but it will take 2 hours or more during rush hours.
We booked a room and 2 cottages (they call it cabanas, you can see it in the pictures) like 2 weeks before the date of our arrival. We stayed in there for day-use only but still we booked a room just for our things safety and if someone wants to sleep, since the cabanas is an open cottage.
They have a big room that looks like a house that is suited for a big family, and the rest of the rooms is only good for two that only cost 2,500 per night, the room is airconditioned, has its own bathroom, a cabinet and own television. Its really good for its price. They have 4 cabanas that only cost 1,500 per day that is suitable for 8 person per cabana, they also do offer tables and chairs that only cost 500 pesos per use.
The area is quite big than the other resorts we visited which is what were looking for. Its very peaceful during weekdays but its kind of crowded during weekends, we didn't booked an overnight stay since most of us still have class and work on weekdays the reason why were only available during weekends.
There is no corkage fee for foods, but you need to buy the drinks and beverages inside the resort. They also do have 3 kinds of swimming pool for adults and kids but you need to pay a 100 peso fee per person, but if you booked a room you can have two (2) free ticket to use the pool. It also has slides that is suitable for kids and even for adults.
It was an amazing quick getaway, we enjoyed everything even though we didn't stay for a long time. You can visit Estaca Bay at anytime and it will not be hard for you to locate it since its just along the road.
