Novigrad (Croatia)
The weather during last few days on and around the Christmas was not the best in Istria, but days before that were almost perfect. Walking by the sea was therefor very enjoyable.

The surroundings of the Church of St Pelagius and St Maximus in Novigrad was discreetly but very beautifully and festively decorated.
The Old Lady - Novigrad
In the hinterland of the Novigrad marina, next to the anchored boat-cafe 'bar "The Old lady", a small children's skating rink has been set up. The mascots of Snowman and Santa Claus greet the little ones with a smile, for whom this is a unique opportunity to try out and enjoy the new winter discipline, this time entertaining - skating.

Courageous and enthusiastic, they sailed on their small sailboats despite some colder weather in December. It must be lots of fun, if you like doing this sort of stuff on the sea water.
I still don't fully understand this message, but I assume that this local restaurant offered some of its own "specialty of the day", which was neither pizza nor čevapčiči.
Not everything is nice and beautiful near the sea. This abandoned house in Novigrad is a proof of that. Hope the owners will find a way to rebuild it some day.
The graffiti artwork is decorating the walls of one of the houses. Whales on the shore attracted the attention of random walkers.
The sea and the sky were both very blue and beautiful that day. The fisherman on the fishing boat went out on the sea to try his luck. Or maybe it was just somebody enjoying the weather on his boat.
The horses on the nearby Ranch Mare enjoyed grazing. My presence didn't bother them one bit. They are used to people.
Sailors are still out there having fun on their sailboats. Myself, I rather stay on the solid ground. People sometimes use to say ... "Praise the sea, stick to the land".

I guess it's fair to say that December days by the sea can be as beautiful as any other days during the year. Still few of them left till the end of the year 2021.
Yay! 🤗

That looks like an interesting town. Nice photos.
I never heard of that dish before... it looks like some kind of meat with potatoes and onions:
Čevapčiči is a classic Balkan grilled dish made from minced meat shaped into larger or smaller rolls. Ajvar, chopped onion, kajmak and ground pepper are usually served with čevapčiči. The word is essentially a diminutive of čevap, and the latter has the same origin as the word kebab.
The environmental footage of the place is great ;))
Thanks, I'm glad you like it.

We wish you a Happy New Year!Dear @zorank,
Right from time, I have been always scared of people leaving close to the sea because of flood someday.
This abandoned house in Novigrad is a proof of that. Hope the owners will find a way to rebuild it some day.
Just maybe!
It is sad seeing a beautiful house such as this are abandoned 😔
It is sad, indeed!
