Most of the tourists traveled home, so the crowds are practically nowhere to be found. What is still here is the extraordinary beauty of nature, the sea and still very beautiful weather. A perfect day for a walk. Here are some stops from this 8 to 10 km round walk in both directions between Mareda and Novigrad.

Macumba Beach, Mareda, Istria (Croatia)
Macumba Beach in Mareda is a very popular place for sunbathing and swimming in the Summer. Tourists and locals ... they both adore this spot. It is empty now, of course, but it is still a beautiful place to admire the sea and the waves.

Aminess Maravea Camping Resort, Mareda, Istria (Croatia
Not far away, also in Mareda, we find Aminess Maravea Camping Resort. A popular tourist location surrounded by hectares of vineyards this camping resort offers complete range of facilities and activities including a pool containing sea watter placed just inches away from the sea.

Kastanija, Istria (Croatia)
Terra rossa. As the name implies, it is Istrian red earth sprinkled with small calcite stones, which owes its color to the high percentage of iron oxides. Vineyards and olive groves are most often here.

I guess not much words are needed here. People are still enjoying on their sailing boats. With beautiful sunny weather still making us feel good, sailors take their boats to the sea for some of the season's last sails.

Pine forest - Kastanija, Istria
There is clean and fresh air on the way between Mareda and Novigrad thanks to numerous pine trees along the coast. If you have any breathing problems, they will almost disappear in the pine forest.

Old fishing marina - Novigrad, Istria (Croatia)
A beautiful seaside town Novigrad-Cittanova was today's final location before the walk back. Two marinas, wonderful old own, many bars and restaurants, a growing new part of the city, beautiful beaches and lots of green space ... all this is typical of Novigrad. But that is another story.

ahhh just everything about croatia is so beautiful and this really is a place where I need to get back to as the last time was like 15 yeas ago. The ocean with the landscape and the people are so nice...damn I need to head back haha!
