A few days ago I went to Cox's Bazar sea beach with my University friends. It's the largest sea beach.
I study in Jagannath University, Physics department. We had a hectic semester. You can say one of the toughest semester we've ever faced. So we decided to freshen our mind.
We had a lot of discussion about where we sould go for a tour. Some said Sylet, some said bandarban, some said Cox's Bazar. In the end we decided for Cox's bazar sea beach.
We were 1 2 people in the tour group. As we were all from the same department our mentality was almost same. So we had a lot of fun.
We started the journey in an ac bus. It was my first time travelling in an ac bus. Actually I don't like ac air. So It was not a great experience for me. But It was fun as all the friends were there.
We had a friend in the group who lived in Cox's bazar so it was easy for us to travel. He arranged the bus tickets for us. We booked two beautiful hotel flats. The rooms were spacious.
When we reached our destination, we left our baggage at the hotel and rushed to the sea beach. It was a beautiful moment for us. As I was visiting Cox's bazar sea beach for the first time, I couldn’t believe in my eyes. The beauty of the sea was the best thing I ever saw in my whole life.
After chilling in the beach we went to our hotel and had a delicious meal. In the afternoon we again went to the sea beach. We walked there and had some street food. In the night we again went for a walk. The night view of the sea is the best. The cloudy sky and the beautiful sea was the best combination ever. The beach was full of natural wind. We were amazed. As we all live in Dhaka which is a very crowded place, we don't have that much free space. So It was nice to see a open space with full of natural breeze. At night a lot of people were not there, so enjoyed the environment very much.
In the morning we a perfect breakfast with hotchpotch. Then we went to sea other part of the sea. Inani beach, kolatoli etc. We hired a vehicle called " Chander Gari ". It went by the sea beach from different place to place . It was one the best experience I ever had. We sang different bangla songs together in the vehicle names chander gari. It didn’t have any roof. So almost all of us could stand in the running vehicle. I have never ridden this kind of car. So it was a new experience for me. We all liked this short journey ver much.
In the afternoon, we played football beside the sea beach. I got myself a goal in the match. It was so much fun. At night we again went for a walk beside the sea beach. As our bus for our home was booked at night we all felt very sad. We didn’t want to go home so soon. Nobody wanted to leave this beautiful place so early. But it is what it is. Life is hard. And most importantly life is cruel. We had to reach for our bus at the right time. We felt very sad in the bus.
I forgot to mention the journey was too long. We had to sit in the bus around 1 2 hours both time. But it was not boring as we all were friends.
It was my first time trip to Cox's bazar. So it was a special trip. I still can not forget that day. I went to Cox's bazar after a few months but it never felt the same. I will write about that in the next few blogs. Hopefully I will visit that place soon because I miss that place very much. This journey has a special place in my heart.
But Cox's bazar is not a safe place for first timers. Some residential people will try to scam you if they can realize that you're a newbie there. The most common scam is photography scam. They will come to you and ask if you want to click photos by dslr camera only for 2 to 5 taka per piece. Any newbie will love this deal and will ask for 10 to 20 photos. But they will click 100-500 photos in the meantime. And will ask for more money. If you refuse to give money to them some residential people will come and will force you to give money. So everybody should be conscious about these scam and enjoy the beautiful breeze and scenario of the great Cox's Bazar Sea beach.
So that was it. My first time visiting the largest sea beach in the world. One-day I will travel every place of the world and will write about that in this beautiful community named Pinmapple.
