**Invisible Strings:**

To start: this was when I was 18 years old and I am now 38.
So I am in Calgary living wild and nomadic and carefree. My Grandpa lived in Scarborough, Ontario.
I hadn't spoken to my Grandpa and about six months. I suddenly get this OVERWHELMING urge to call and speak to him. I called him collect from a payphone. Nearing the end of the 30 minute call ending I attempted to say see ya later and that I didn't want to run up his phone bill any more than I already had.
My Grandpa said: "I ain't gunna be here to pay the bill, son." And "I told your damn father I ain't leaving fuck all except DEBT!"
So, anyways, I proceed to call him another 3 full 30 minute calls after the first. He got right drunk and said further into our calls that:
"Can you permit and old man to die at 69 years old because it's the best fucken number, Laddie'"
That same day that I got this urge to call him, my dad's neighbor up in Party Sound, Ontario, had won, I think 3000 on The lottery and needed a ride to OLGC in Toronto to cash the ticket.
So,my dad also saw and talked to my grandpa that same day.
100% true story; all of this and also this:
My Grandpa actually died that same night.
He died the same day that The Universe conspired to have us separately connect with him.
One from 300km away and one connection, to me, from 4000+km away.
Goes to show that there are "strings" and "ties" that connect certain people who are open to The Current and that some energies and bonds are inexplicable and/or barely describable/comprehensible.
I do know one thing, for sure, is that every word I said above is 100% TRUE and I am so thankful and appreciative of that blessing that was a devine parting gift.
I am in awe of the great gift I was given not only with that opportunity, but also with eyes, mind, heart, and soul to recognize and actually appreciate what all that means.
