I just found out about this really fantastic contest and I am really sorry I did it so late.

And here is my big question: do I start from the beginning? Do I resume the contest today, ignoring all the others previously developed in its phases # 1, # 2 and # 3?

I have decided on the most Solomonic solution: start from the beginning by explaining the name of my blog.

Actually @ollasysartenes is in itself quite explanatory so that it abounds in explanations.

My passion is cooking, a passion that I have inherited through generations. My grandmother, my mother, my husband.

I have Italian origins in my blood and therefore I carry in him that passion for food, it is a country in which more than satisfying a primary need is an art.

Conejo al marsala con castañas.

I lived more than half of my life in Italy and there I learned what gastronomy means, as art, as culture, as the identity of a people.

Still today in Italy many foods bear the stamp of Pellegrino Artusi, a visionary who in the 18th century transformed Italian cuisine and wrote a book that became a true gastronomic treatise over the years: La Scienza in Cucina eL'Arte di Mangiar Bene (The Science in Cooking and the Art of Eating Well).

It is a true bedside book all over the world, not just in Italy.

Many of the recipes that I have published are actually Italian recipes with elements transformed to make them applicable to the cuisine of Spanish origin (Argentine in my case).

27.RecetasNavidadRollitos de Col con Jamón, Alcachofas y Puerros.png

Quick and easy ideas for your Christmas and New Year's menu: Cabbage Rolls with Ham, Artichokes and Leeks.

I hope that as an introduction it will explain the name of the blog, although as I said, it is self explanatory.

I hope to continue giving continuity to the Contest with all the proposed topics.

I have already discovered after a quick reading, many that I am passionate about.

Until the next meeting!
