One book I consider my favorite childhood book is Anana, the destiny child. I honestly can't remember the author's name.
The story had to do with how a little girl survived many problems ranging from societal expectations, Polygamous problems, Hatred from family, Loss of mother, and other problems as a kid.
I consider this story as my own Cinderella story because this girl, Anana also had to deal with hatred from her step mum.
Although Unlike Cinderella's story, No prince charming until the very end after she already worked through her problems.
The book was a motivation to me as a little girl that I can be anything I want to be no matter what happens or who tries to stop me. It still is a motivation.
