Weekend are for parties. During the week, i'm always busy with work and the only time i have to myself is weekend. Luckily for me, A friend invited me to a wedding party. I was so excited because it was quite long i attended a wedding party. As you all know, we nigerians love parties and as a Nigerian babe i planned to rock the party well.
Just before D- day, i already sorted out my outfit. I planned to dress to the best for the event. Just to know how prepared i was, i went online to search for trendy dance steps which i rehearsed for days so as to give a nice dance step at the event.
On the D-day which was Saturday, i woke up so early to do all domestic chores. Shortly after that i went to took my bath and started dressing up for the event. Just after dressing up , i pick up my phone to check the address of the event. It was then i discover that i dont actually know the location. I thought of what to do, so i decided to call my friend who invited me to the event. But she was not picking her calls. At this point, i was so confused. I don't want to miss the event for anything.
After few minutes of thinking on what to do, i find a solution. Guess what?. GPS. I remember i have a GPS app that could give me direction to the location. I was so happy. I rushed out of the house without taking my breakfast because i dont want to be late.
On getting to the garage, i boarded a bike, the bike man ask me where i was going i told him not to worry my GPS app will be directing him. I wish i never opted for this option. Immediately i board the bike i brought out my phone with full confidence , and started following the direction the GPS was giving me. The bike man kept on asking me, madam have you tried this before? i told him to mind his business. Hmmm, that's how i started following GPS instead of asking the bike man the location.
I trusted my beloved GPS, it will direct me to the right location. After 30 minutes. I noticed the GPS was directing me into a bushy path. Is my eyes deceiving me or what😳. How come am i heading to a bushy area, a lot of thought kept on flowing through my heart. Instead of me to suspect that something is wrong, i kept trusting the GPS.The bike man was getting scared already but i kept on calming him down that GPS never fails😂😂.
After 5 minutes, GPS indicated that I'm now at the location. Stepping down from the bike.Guess what i saw? All i saw was a thick forest, the birds are flying from one tree to the other. At the sight of this, i almost fainted. GPS finally failed me.😂😂
I was ashamed to look at the bike man because i already told him to mind his business, i stylishly went back to him to help me out of the mess i put myself in. With the help of few people around, i was able to locate my way back to town. On getting to the event, the wedding party was already over. I almost cried, it was indeed a funny experience.

It's always good to ask for direction especially when you don't have any idea of where the location is.

For real? See I don't care what you think, but I feel that missing the food is the most painful part of this ordeal not even the part where you got lost. Like... There is nothing compared to party rice oo.. 😂
