My mom, an Africa woman who is very smart and doesn’t like to be outsmart by any of her kids. She has been on the throne ruling like a tyrant ever since I was little. One beautiful thing is that she’s never wrong and I always get in trouble with her anytime we engage in an argument. Even when I take my case to the king of the house (My dad) I’ll still get in trouble for trying to present my case to the judge. She would refuse to give me meat while others were eating me.

Anyways, I left home for a very long time and mummy kept calling me to know when I will visit home, I told her I would come during the holiday. I knew this was a perfect opportunity to take back all those meat I had lost when I was little.
I traveled down home and everyone was happy to see me. It was Christmas Day already and mom was in the kitchen frying some chicken and turkey. I went to the kitchen to patronize her saying
“My mother, my sweet mother, my biological mother. The woman who gave birth to me”
She was like
“Mr man, what do you want?” so I went ahead to say
“My mother, you know I have been away from home for a very long time and where I was I don’t eat chicken or turkey. Can you please give me one fried chicken to eat, I would let my other siblings know of my campaign”
She looked at me in the eye and said “You this seagull, when it’s time for food I will be your mother right? Beside I’m not your mother, now leave my kitchen” (said it in our native language)
I thought that trick might work but it did not so I left the kitchen disappointed. When it was time to serve our food. She called me into the kitchen then gave me my plate of food. I deep my spoon into the mountain of rice just to find another hidden treasure inside the mountain of rice while the first treasure was on the mountain of rice.
She kept another chicken for me at the bottom side of my dish. I peak her, my siblings were wondering where this act of love was coming from so I decided not to eat with them on the dining table before my cover was blown. I went straight to my room to eat.
