Greetings to all the members of the community, how are you? Teachers have always been present in each of the stages of my life since I was little because education for my parents has been very important from the beginning, they wanted me to be someone with a good academic background. Growing up in this way makes you have a particular respect for those who impart knowledge because you take into account that great gift they are giving you and thanks to which you are growing up... but I can tell you that sometimes I wish I had forgotten all that. Anyone would expect a minimum of respect towards students, not anyone should be in a position of great power as it is to find yourself in a classroom supposedly providing the new generations with relevant information to defend themselves in life.
Look, I am sure that many of us have encountered teachers who will remain marked in our memory and not for good reasons, as the saying goes in my country: 'In the vineyard of the Lord there is everything' including bad teachers who believe they are above others simply because they are teachers, showing you attitudes that are unacceptable. One of the worst things you can do when you are in the presence of one with these characteristics is to pretend to deny what he is saying, this I learned from my own experience, it feels like you are trying to fight a fire-breathing dragon and the only tool you have to help you in this task is your word, not even your hands, trying to calm a beast using reason when he is clearly not capable of reasoning could be considered an impossibility.
I am the kind of person who tries to avoid conflict at all costs, I don't like it, however, I have had to find some courage to raise my voice in the face of those injustices that happen to us students, such as a professor not wanting to accept one of the answers on the exam because he thinks that you didn't really answer him even though the answer is simply there. When you realize that you are not alone and others of your classmates are in the same situation as you, you think that maybe there is some kind of hope for the professor to realize his mistake, but that is not what happens, your heart gets faster and faster when one by one your classmates fall before the professor's answers to their complaints, leaving the classroom submerged in a complete silence that apparently no one wanted to break.
Naively I thought that if I let him calm down a bit I would be able to defend my case without him yelling at me too much, yes, I was a fool, because in the end he ended up yelling at me as he had done with the others although maybe not as loud if we compare it with one of the comments he said to one of my classmates, basically making fun of the fact that he had not added some points that my classmate had accumulated from several additional activities to the exam. I left the room fuming, I don't know if it was because I was upset or because I felt as if I had been scorched, I regretted having made the attempt to convince the professor that my answer was there. It reminded me of when you can't find something in the house, you ask mom where it is and she ends up looking for it where you looked before without getting it, the difference is that unlike you, she does find it.
The sense of danger that floods you when you are facing a teacher is unique and complex, because even when you win the battle, the danger doesn't go away, it is still there, it waits for the next moment of vulnerability on your part to exploit it because it knows you are going to fall into its nets eventually. This particular professor has a way of playing on your patience by taking advantage of the fact that he has the power in the classroom, he always makes some excuse when he doesn't have the answer to a question you ask him in a way that he doesn't have to answer, like when he told a classmate that the answer to her question he had said before she arrived, this because he had been late, but had never said anything related to what she was asking him. He says it with an obvious tone of mockery that to tell the truth makes us laugh.
Who is going to save us from these teachers? We need to unite!
Thank you so much for making it this far, I hope you are well.

Oh yes I do, I have some of them that left a negative mark.
Some teachers are just a pain in the arse. We know that teachers device different methods of teaching but listening to the students and also learning is vital.
Totally! I find it funny that this professor blames us for not understanding what he says when he is the one who explains himself very badly.
He tells us to ask if we have doubts but then when we ask he tells us things like we don't understand because we don't study.
I need everyone to send me energy to get through this.
😂
I've come across this type of teachers..there are always somewhat arrogant and unbearable.
Sending you lots of energy from my reservoir. You would really need it 😂
Thank you! As soon as I recover I will pay you back with interests.
♥️
😅😅😅😅
It's a pleasure ❣️✨
I can definitely relate to this! Without making too long a story about it, this is how my classmates and I solved a similar problem: We agreed with everything the teacher said, even when he was wrong, and we took the time to teach other after classes, so we could still pass our exams.
It is an excellent alternative! I think we're going to end up doing that to try to pass the course... but I'm still preparing for the next class to turn into a big fight, I talked to several classmates who are going to fight for their grade.
Thanks for you comment.
What a confusing situation that would be! You can't get an understandable answer but you are given the chance to ask anyways
I think confusion often leads to the funniest situations and the nonsense shown by this professor leads to a good laugh.
I like it when all the classmates look at each other's faces after the teacher contradicts himself, it's like complicity.
😂
