People tend to respect the things they hold dear and will attack anyone who talks bad about that thing, even though it's what they'd do when given the chance every single time.
It's almost like the never ending Android-Iphone beef. iPhone users can't help but take a dig at the Android users, while they equally will ridicule the other side when given the chance. We all have our preference, It's just human nature and at least I understand this one.
Stan culture on the other hand is what I find it difficult to understand. I love many celebrities, but loving them to the point where their enemies are mine seems ridiculous. If I was paid to do so, maybe and just maybe my view might change.
I'll be online and Davido(a Nigerian musician) posts about his music then a Wizkid (another Nigerian musician) fan purposely goes under that post and says something ridiculous, then the online war of words starts for the day.
While Davido is eating a dinner of roasted chicken (I love chicken obviously), two guys soaking garri with salt are not looking like sleeping soon with both sides searching for new words on the Oxford dictionary.
The only advantage to the fans of two beefing celebrities is that at least they get to learn new English words, at least the world is getting literate bit by bit.
One thing I do like about social media is that it's the only space where everyone is somehow equal. A fifteen year old boy in America could be insulting a forty year old mafia boss in Italy on a football page and he wouldn't even know it (talk about playing Russian roulette with your life).
The celebrities especially musicians on the other hand make everything quite fun without even knowing it sometimes.
A musician purchases a brand new Maybach and goes online with the a picture of the car and the caption SHE JUST ARRIVED, immediately his fans are posting and sharing it for the other side to see even though they're still stuck in traffic on their way home.
The annoying one is when musicians get a new whip and come online to say We're doing it for the fans, you know it's all for you guys out there and I'm like Whaaaaaaaaaaat?
You're chilling and sipping wine in a Ferrari all for my sake, because you just love me so much? Howwww? .Just make it make sense.
And the fans will be in the comment section with replies like Thanks for doing it for us boss😂😂, I'm surprised anyone can be so deluded.
I read a few weeks backs about a guy who took out the bit of inheritance his grandparents left him just to get his girlfriend tickets to a Beyonce concert because she said it's the only thing she wants for her birthday.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this one even though it's been a few weeks. If you were looking for confirmation that love is well and truly blind, then seek no more brethren cos this is confirmation enough.

Fan's can argue about celebrity, I saw it when two people argue about Liverpool and Chelsea, and the argument nearly got into exchanges of blow, is good to love celebrities but we should as well look out for ourselves too, and most importantly, we should know when to argue about them, and not everytime like some people do.
