My take on cryptomarkets, BTC, Terra/Luna, Hive and the whole bloody gang.

Since the beginning of this month of May in Hive. Interestingly since May the 1th "International Worker's Day" I have been noticing a great avalanche of new posts reaching the Hive trending page which only talks redundantly about the very same malarkey again and again nonstop.

And besides from the ever-increasing number of posts about makeup tutorials, cooking recipes, video games & videogaming, movies & film reviews, travel blogs, nonsense 3Speak vlogs and the eventual reports of whales and the big "curation" trails with their bombastic summaries and compilation of posts with its lists of extraordinarily bland content they vote for and "curate" in their respective "curation" niches and which actually are the only posts making it to the trending page.

So far this month, I have mostly seen posts on the trending page usually written by the same individuals and obviously well voted and "curated" by that other same gang of exquisite "curators" and colleagues that, even though these privileged content creators are all talking about the same shitshow of the Terra/Luna debacle and the bloodbath of cryptomarkets, without contributing anything new on the subject, curiously, these are the only articles that manage to appear on the main page of our platform due to the generous blind "curation" obtained by our offbeat & kinky Maecenases.

But in my opinion, I can perceive that all these articles lack much more substance and cowbell to be there. And above all, they all lack of a more heightened sense of humor to approach financial matters with truly useful and appropriate terms, charts, analyses, evaluations, considerations and accurate conclusions. And here I come to the rescue!

¿How much have crypto markets dropped?

Since the total value of crypto markets globally hit an all-time high in November 2021, the market has crumbled 59%. But the last week has been particularly brutal, with crypto overall plummeting from $1.18 trillion to $1.2 trillion, as of Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. ET, according to data from CoinMarketCap. That's a decline of 33% in a single week. Of the sell-off, the damage has been widespread. Bitcoin is down by a third since May 4, now trading at around $28,000, while Ethereum's ETH token, the second largest crypto out there today by market capitalization, has dropped 35%. Altcoins like Cardano's ADA, Solana's SOL, and Polkadot's DOT are all down more than 45%. And the original meme token, Dogecoin, has plunged 40%.

After all these charts, graphs, tables, statistics and verbiage that I have presented throughout this post. Were you now able to understand more clearly the economic situation we are going through and facing here on Hive? Or in the cryptomarkets and the financial world in general as to assume and make a wiser decision? ¿Nope?

Well, neither do I. But here you can see me still working to see if, by sheer chance, any of my brainy financial articles make it to the Hive trending page for the first time and hopefully end with the monotony of what you usually can find there.

Because if you really want to find a higher dose of realism in life. First and foremost...

At first I was like, maybe he didn't mean to post in Comedy Open Mic. Then I was like, maybe I missed the joke. Then I saw @lucylyn's comment. Now I get it.

Wassup man? Long time no see.

Imagine YouTube or the Face one or TickyTalky or Instawhatever it's called all had trending content about YouTube or the Face one or TickyTalky or Instawhatever it's called. Why would anyone sign into YouTube if all the top content was tokenomics pertaining to YouTube and how to trade YouTube and why YouTube is superior and YouTube YouTube YouTube? We go there to learn the inner-working mechanisms and dev meet-ups said no one ever. We go there for entertainment.

Hive content trends because the same handful of wallets who put it there yesterday, put it there today and tomorrow and the next day and the day after that and the day after that and.... We all know that, it's no secret. Neither is why I wipe my ass but no one wants to read that shit.

Only thing worse for a consumer to stop by Hive and see the same trending authors is for a consumer to stop by Hive and see veteran content producers talk shit on Hive.

Hahaha thank you for your endearment brother. Don't miss me too much yet. At any time I will appear over there to share a good gathering with you. It's just that at the moment, it still seems to be more fun trying to "educate" our audience in this place. Nonetheless, I trust that you will come back here soon to read this affectionate message. :)
