I would be sorry if the bore-holes in Ghana lost funding.
I didn't understand how that was funded first of all. I thought it was through post rewards and thought it was a wonderful example of how Hive could fund humanitarian projects that no one was interested in supporting and was operating outside the traditional economic/development aid bureaucracy.
Some of the information in the last value-plan post was unedifying (and embarrassing) as taken up in this discussion.
The promised strategic post has not appeared six weeks later.
I have no problem with the boreholes . Good cause . I have a problem with them costing 4000 HBD last year and all of a sudden they are 8000HBD this year . Plus the project manager lives in the UK.
