Hello, a big hug to all the Hive community, I am delighted as always to interact with you and share some anecdotes that made me laugh a lot. I hope you read and comment on this publication and make you laugh for a while.
In Venezuela, as we know, education is secular. Parents and representatives have the right to enroll their children in schools with a religious orientation, which there are in a small percentage. Thus, my children studied in a Catholic-oriented school, the Madre Emilia School in La Victoria, Aragua State, which belongs to the Venezuelan Association of Catholic Schools (AVEC).
My oldest son, Simón Antonio, started there from the third grade of elementary school and my daughter María José, who sadly passed away 4 months ago, started in that school from the first level of kindergarten. Personally, I was always very involved with my children's school activities. Even though they had school transportation, I regularly took them to school in the mornings, getting them both up very early in the morning to go to the bathroom to get dressed (I always dressed María José while she was still asleep), while her mother prepared breakfast and snacks for her.
Likewise, he was always present at academic events and civic activities organized by the school, which were very regular and of different natures. In sports activities, in the assemblies of parents and representatives, in festive events and also in cultural events.
It was precisely in the month of December, where the school Madre Emilia, organized a small theatrical act that had to do with the tendency that there is to displace Jesus Christ by St. Nicholas or St. Klaus. There my daughter María José played the role of a little angel. In the play an adult wore the costume of St. Nicholas, to represent that character and another adult would represent Jesus Christ with his respective attire.
My children always knew that I do not profess any religious vocation, I am rather agnostic but without dogmatism and as much respect for each of the beliefs. He said this because that day when the play was being performed, the person who was supposed to play Jesus Christ could not come and the director of the school, a Nun, looked at me and asked me to play the role of Jesus Christ and to put on the costume so that the play could be performed.
The proposal surprised me, but I accepted immediately, I put on a costume that included a beard and when it was my turn to enter the stage, I had no dialogue or text to learn, because I only had to make gestures. As soon as I entered the stage my daughter María José, who was playing a little angel and did not know that I was going to act, was impressed when she saw me dressed as Jesus Christ and we both did not stop laughing for a long time, causing the play to be interrupted, which we resumed when we passed the laughing attack.
It was a surprise for her to see me playing this role, which was improvised, a fact that we often commented on because of how funny she found the situation. I had never participated in a play, I suffered from stage fright and always avoided participating in this type of public activity, but that day I didn't think much about it and despite the laughter, it went very well. After some time had passed, we always remembered that moment with a lot of joy to laugh a little more.

On that occasion I'm sure many could say "that's God's call". Well my friend I was shocked by this publication, but look, even in the worst moments we can remember something funny. A big hug and thanks for bringing your anecdotes to this community. I imagined him with a beard and I also laughed @simajo2022
Muchas gracias. Toda perdida deja un profundo dolor y mucho mas la pérdida de una hija, que duele para toda la vida y el dolor se incrementa todos los días.
Pero también quedan los hermosos recuerdos que nos hacen sonreír. Saludos
