I guess Ash was a little surprised. Love is a wonderful thing.
You had quite a trip. I know people don't use trains so much for long journeys over there, but it can be a great way to see things. We did a train trip across some of Europe this year.

Yeah, I only wish the Amtrak trains in the USA were as nice or as punctual as the ones I remember riding in Europe. But it still is a good way to see much of the country. You just have to build in contingencies for trains possibly being several hours late into your travel schedule. Oh, and not depend too much on whether the wifi on the train actually works...
