When I meet people in Panama who speak good English, I always ask how they learned. They almost always say it is from watching TV or movies in English. Pretty amazing. We try to get our kids to watch shows or movies in Spanish so maybe they will acquire it as well (along with other types of lessons).

To be honest, English is one of the easiest languages to learn, besides, from an early age you are taught English classes, of course, it is always easy for those who want to learn the language, but for those who don't, it is difficult haha.
English is my first language, y aprendi el espanol en el colegio y la universidad. I love knowing two languages and hope that my kids will one day be better at Spanish!
