Кожної весни я ремонтую систему поливу газону на присадибній ділянці. Труби були закопані в землю вже з десяток років тому, до того ж не дуже глибоко. Тому взимку труби та крани перемерзають і тріскаються. Поки в мене були запаси різноманітних запчастин і обрізки труби, то мені вдавалось все це відновлювати.
Every spring I repair the lawn irrigation system in the backyard. The pipes were buried in the ground already ten years ago, and not very deep. That is why pipes and faucets freeze and crack in winter. As long as I had a stock of various spare parts and pipe scraps, I managed to restore it all.
В цьому році вже не було чим ремонтувати, тому я вирішив замінити всю трубу та встановити нові крани. До того ж, більш раціонально продумав місця розташування кранів, щоб мати можливість дотягнутись шлангами до самого далекого куточка ділянки. Щоб не дуже спотворити газон, намагався викопати акуратні траншеї, а траву разом з верхнім шаром землі обережно знімав, щоб потім нею закрити верх траншей. На мій погляд, вийшло непогано, а ще й все працює.
This year there was nothing to repair, so I decided to replace the entire pipe and install new faucets. In addition, I more rationally thought out the location of the cranes in order to be able to reach the farthest corner of the site with hoses. In order not to distort the lawn too much, I tried to dig neat trenches, and carefully removed the grass together with the top layer of earth, so that later it was used to cover the top of the trenches. In my opinion, it turned out not bad, and everything works.
І як не дивно, всі з’єднання та кути герметично все з’єднали, навіть під тиском на з’єднаннях немає підтікання води. В кінці сезону, перед консервацією на зиму, обов’язково цю магістраль продую стисненим повітрям, бо відчуваю, що після морозів ці труби і крани також порозриває. А хочеться, щоб вони прослужили довго. Влітку для трав’яного газону,грядок та квіткових клумб полив має дуже велике значення, якщо не основне.
And surprisingly, all the joints and corners are hermetically sealed, even under pressure there is no leakage of water at the joints. At the end of the season, before preservation for the winter, I must blow this main line with compressed air, because I feel that after the frosts, these pipes and faucets will also burst. And I want them to last a long time. In the summer, watering is very important, if not the main thing, for a grass lawn, beds and flower beds.
