A little good memories with my pal friend from Zhytomir. Her name is Galina Ivantschuk.
We met long time ago in a German Hotel as she was au pair girl for the Hotel owner. We exchanges our addresses and could continue to correspond regularly during 6 years. As she was studying german language, and as my mother language is German, it was easy and nice to correspond with her. Sometimes she sent me postcards from her home town Zhitomir (below).
A few years later in 99, I could met her again in Germany during a business trip as she was leaving for a few weeks by a friend in Schwäbisch Hall, and a few weeks later she could visit me during a Week End in Paris. It was in October 99.
We spent a very nice moment and we continue to write each other until May 2000. Than after we went our separate ways. We couldn't met again, but both of us have kept for the eternity a nice memory of this time.
Since the last weeks I feel extremely sad about what happens in Ukraine. Unfortunately I am unable to locate Galina (today she is 48 years old), I can feel she suffer a lot of what actually happens in Ukraine.
I would like so much to speak to her to encourage her and to support her as best as possible. I try many ways (social networks, internet) to find her, but this looks not easy, and it seems Galina Ivantschuk is a very common name in Ukraine. Do you may be have some ideas how I could find this nice person. Thanks for reading, Maxime.
