Reflections on the causes of wars

in Team Ukraine3 years ago

Hi friends!
To be honest, I am very angry with the Russians for what they are doing in Ukraine and with Ukraine.
Evil, because they came to our land, mock our people, destroy our homes, our country and our lives.
What do they need and why did they get lost in our territory, where no one was waiting for them?

Every war based on colossal military spending has the ultimate goal of enrichment by capturing new promising territories, no matter what patriotic ideology of denazification the Russians carry.
This may be an additional side task, but not the fact that the main one.
All this patriotic swan is very convenient, because under its guise it is very convenient to hide any other goals that do not sound as beautiful and inspiring as the liberation from fascists or nationalists.
What is needed for a "great Russia" in our relatively small territory, where peace and tranquility once reigned.
It has been suggested that the world's largest lithium deposits, which were discovered only in December 2021 in Ukraine, could be the trigger for the military conflict.
I can't say that this was the reason, because according to intelligence, the military operation was planned for the summer of 2021.
We all lived under these clouds, as if under an umbrella of our own ignorance.
Russia's military ambitions have always been rampant and aggressive, and thousands have suffered.
Are there enough ambitions to start a new large-scale war, or can ambitions backed by hatred for a particular people become a terrible explosive mix?
Let's not forget that war is a good way to raise your rating.
This goal has been achieved and how long this rating will last with the rapid decline in living standards of ordinary Russians due to sanctions.
Zombie people in Russia are seeking spectacle and blood under the pressure of large-scale propaganda, and now they will get both, triumphing over the spectacle of bombed Mariopol and receiving ecstasy from the spectacle of torn bodies in Bucha, foolishly denying the atrocities of their own military.
"It's all the work of the Armed Forces," the Russian media claims, no longer blushing at their own lies.
Kindergarten children know that it is always easier to blame others than to make excuses.

So sorry that you are caught in this pointless war. There is never a justification for it.
