Рідні українських захисників створили — Раду дружин та матерів захисників України під назвою “Жінки зі сталі”, для подальшої роботи над порятунком своїх рідних.
Організацію “Жінки зі сталі” створено задля додаткової ланки комунікації між рідними зниклих безвісти чи полонених військових та владою.
Ця організація буде публічною силою та дбатиме про збереження людських цінностей.
Наразі, головною ціллю “Жінок зі сталі” є порятунок власних чоловіків, братів та інших родичів.

This organization will be a public force and will take care of the preservation of human values.

Родичі військових на спеціальному брифінгу наголошують, що на сьогодні нічого невідомо про евакуйованих з “Азовсталі” військових.
З полоненими відсутній будь-який зв’язок, а отже невідомо ані їх місцеперебування, ані умови утримання, ані шанси на звільнення з полону.
Сестра начальника штабу першого заступника полку “Азов” майора Богдана Кротевича — Сандра Кротевич, закликала світові та українські медіа, не замовчувати проблему. Адже, евакуація не стала порятунком для військових і нічого невідомо про їх подальшу долю.
Останній зв’язок з братом Сандри відбувся в день евакуації з Азовсталі о п’ятій ранку. Після цього ні з ким з військових не було жодних контактів.

Вже після виходу з заводу командир полку “Азов” Денис Прокопенко зателефонував дружині та повідомив, що росіяни утримують українських бійців в задовільних умовах.
Нагадаю, що 17 травня, президент заявив, що гарнізон “Маріуполь” виконав бойову задачу та дав наказ зберегти життя особового складу.
А 20 травня стало відомо, що РФ вивела військовополонених з території заводу “Азовсталь”.
